"Can't you get a bigger suitcase? Pay for the extra baggage, Yu." Iseul requested. She sat in one of the empty luggage as she watched Yuta contemplate what to bring. It was a last minute decision of his to bring a couple more personal belongings.

"Why though? I'm not bringing too many things." Yuta questioned.

"So I can fit." She answered simply. "You can't forget the most important thing before you leave."

He gestured for her to move, but she shook her head. In her mind, if Yuta can't pack, then he can't leave. Yuta sighed and crouched down to meet her eyes. "You know where you would fit perfectly with enough legroom?"

"Where?"

"A coffin. Perfect, right? You can even turn in your sleep to scare the airport security."

"I don't think the airport security would let a coffin through if it isn't empty." Iseul rolled her eyes and stepped out of the luggage. She helped him finish packing the remaining things he needed. He thanked her with a kiss and moved his things closer to the door.

"Doyoung is almost here. You should go freshen up a bit before we leave." Yuta informed. Iseul nodded, trudging over the the bathroom. She locked the door behind her and the breath she held finally escaped her.

She told herself she wouldn't let him leave on a sad note. She wanted to send him off with a smile and not add on to the heaviness he must be feeling. It must have been so overwhelming for him. It was funny how the cold water didn't faze her in the cold of late winter.

It'll only be for a year or two. Reach your dreams first, Seul. Let him reach his too.

Iseul walked out of the bathroom and didn't hesitate to tackle Yuta down onto the couch. He let out a surprised yelp as it took a minute for him to realize it was her. He laughed, putting one arm around her as the other went to stroke her hair.

"You're a big baby." Yuta teased. "Bambi babie."

"Do you have any complaints?"

"I would if you weren't my big baby." Yuta's laughter rumbled in his chest, distracting her from the heartbeat she desperately wanted to hear. It was such a mystery to her how the heart, unlike lightning that comes with  powerful thunder, was able to do wonders in such a quiet state.

She loved the sound of his heartbeat. She would always tell him how much she loved and he wouldn't understand why at first, but still let her listen to it. Iseul had him try listening to hers once and it was then he understood why she loved it so much.

The intimacy and serenity in listening to it. The assurance that you are not alone and you are living was strangely comforting. The universe allowed your hearts to beat in the same timeline.

Their little bubble popped the moment the doorbell sounded. Iseul knew it was time, yet she couldn't bring herself to let go. She reluctantly and moved in the slowest way she can when she got off of him.

Yuta opened the door and Daeun instantly charged towards Iseul. She kissed her best friend's cheek and tapped her nose. It was a combination she only did for Iseul since they were kids.

"You good, babe?"Daeun worried. She brushed the stray hairs away from Iseul's face as she worriedly examined her friend.

"No."

"Sungchan hug her!" Daeun commanded. Sungchan put the luggage down, not asking any other question as he hugged his older sister. "How about now?"

"Still the same."

Daeun let out a defeated sigh. "We've failed, Sungchan."

"Did I do something wrong?" Sungchan anxiously queried, pointing at himself.
