"My baby!" Daeun cooed, arms wrapping around her best friend. She kissed Iseul's cheek and grinned. "Stop overworking yourself, babe. Let's go get something yummy behind Doyoung's back. You're my original baby."
"I'm right here you know." Doyoung sighed as he pocketed his phone. He rested his hand on Daeun's head. "But Daeun is right. We should grab a bite before we head to Yuta's house. He's getting his stitches removed today, right?"
"According to what I heard from Donghyuck and his sister, yes." Sicheng confirmed. "I need meat after yesterday's game. I want to go to where Yuta, Mark, and I used to go to."
"It's hard to park there though. I can't get my car scratched." Doyoung disagreed.
"I know Yuta is friends with the owner. Maybe he can give her a ring to get us a good spot." Sicheng suggested.
"I'm not going there." Iseul deadpanned, shrugging Daeun off. She nearly fell off the bench, but Sicheng was quick enough to help her find her balance again. "I don't want to see Yuta right now."
"Did you just decline going to see your man?" Daeun gasped. She pulled back slightly to look back to Doyoung before looking at Iseul once again. "Are you sick?"
A sniffle had the trio sharing concerned looks.
"Blink twice if you're dying." Sicheng nervously chuckled. "Um.."
"Daeun. Doyoung. Sicheng." Iseul turned to them with teary eyes. She tried blinking to stop herself from crying as she always did before, but it was useless. The tears spilled as she let go of her worries. "Do you guys want to be with me or do you feel forced to be with me?"
"Wait. Hold on. What's up?" Doyoung worriedly asked. "I uh..."
"Daeun, this isn't the time to cry!" Sicheng scolded. He frantically looked through his backpack for tissues while Doyoung stood there frozen in panic. They were aware of the fact that she can finally cry, but now that they're seeing it, they didn't know what to do.
"But Iseul. Iseul is finally crying. Am I supposed to let her cry alone?" Daeun sobbed. "Of course we want to be with you. What makes you think we don't?"
"Are you sure? I've been so scared of losing people, but I haven't been treating you guys how you deserve to be treated the past six years. I'm sorry." Iseul continued to babble incoherent apologies which flustered the trio even more.
"It's not your fault entirely. We have our faults too, but we never held anything you did against you. I think we're not the good friends here because we didn't notice your subtle cries for help." Daeun argued.
"Should we start crying too?" Sicheng suggested. He finally found the tissues and handed it to the girls.
"I don't know man, I don't look good when I cry." Doyoung shrugged. "What suddenly got you thinking like this?"
"Last night, Yuta and I spoke about something that deals with Jungwoo. I just started reflecting and realized how much I neglected you guys and pushed you away even if you just wanted to help."
"I know you were being a bit dumb-" Doyoung just barely dodged Daeun's warning fist as he raised his hands in defense. "It's like what Daeun said. We don't hold it against you, Seul."
"So why don't you want to see Yuta? Usually, you'd be the first to run to the car." Sicheng brought up, reminding her of the night before. "Is it personal?"
"I needed space to think about something. I need to give him an answer after I think about it thoroughly." Iseul mumbled.
"Do you need space from us? I'll step back like a foot if you do." Daeun joked.
