That morning, the sky greeted her with a magical pink hue. She wondered if it had been an omen for what was happening before her. Everything seemed to play in slow motion as the situation became even more chaotic.

Sungchan hiding her behind him protectively, the team rushing over to separate the two males, Daeun letting loose, and other things her blurred vision couldn't comprehend.

Should she have stayed home today? If she did, she wouldn't be seeing Yuta punch the living hell out Jungwoo.

Earlier that day...

Something was different. Iseul was used to being gossiped about- not that she minded it- but it wasn't this upfront than before. The usual discreet stares and quiet murmuring were there, yet she couldn't shake off the glint of disappointment in their eyes. What did she 'do' this time?

They can talk until they choke on their own spit.

"What pulled on their intestines and obstructed their digestion?" Daeun wondered. She swayed side to side as she waited for Iseul to finish up at her locker. "What dumb thing can they be gossiping about this time? I hope it's something funny so I have a reason to laugh before hitting them."

"Daeun."

"Gosh, you and Doyoung share a car ride and now you suddenly say the same things. Am I a dog for you guys to warn with my name? Arf arf? Woof bark?" Daeun complained. She crossed her arms as she leaned against a closed locker. "It's the easiest way to deal with people when words don't work."

"More like a feral hamster." Sicheng's sudden statement surprised the two. He stood near Iseul's locker with a bored look on his face. He had a book instead of his cellphone in his hands which was rare.

"How long have you been standing there?" Daeun questioned. "I should put a bell on you before you find out my card information."

"Enough to see Iseul struggling to stack her books." Sicheng pointed out. "What's with everyone? Where's Doyoung?"

"Taking the special exam for the athletes. He was supposed to take it yesterday with you, but he forgot about it." Daeun answered. It was a partial lie. Doyoung knew about his test, but he'd rather take it after knowing Iseul was fine. He wouldn't admit it, but he would still have gone even if Daeun or Yuta didn't tell him to.

Iseul closed her locker with a sigh. A loud thud came from inside and she knew the next time she opens her locker there would be an avalanche of books and papers. It was future Iseul's problem. Present Iseul could care less. Let future Iseul curse her.

Daeun eventually left with her class starting and Sicheng  rushing to get to his building in time for his report. Iseul's professor called in sick so she decided to use the free time to walk around the busy school.

She remembered her return to the school. It was only a couple of months back yet felt like it was ages ago. She wondered how would it be if  Her mother didn't reach out to her since she left and Iseul hoped she was thinking about the conversation from the night before.

Her eyes trail to the gray skies and dark clouds. The image from that day would usually flash in her mind each time she saw cloudy skies, but for some reason, it didn't happen. Even still, she didn't like this scene.

It's going to rain, she lamented.

She needed to cancel training with the weather, but it wouldn't stop the team from briefly meeting in the locker room. Although she loved them to death, she wanted to get some cleaning done.

"It's going to rain." Jaehyun warned. His deep voice brought her out of her thoughts.  He sent her a lazy smile, his dimples peeking out to greet her too. "As far as I know, you aren't a fan of it."
