Chapter 21: Forgiveness or Fights

I sit in my bed starring at the ceiling. The guys came home today, I saw Four once and we got in a huge fight. How can life ever go back to normal? Could it? Do I even want it to?

I hear a knock on my door. How did they get in my apartment.
"Come in." I say grabbing a gun next to my bed. The person walks in and I point the gun at them.
"Relax." the voice says and I realize it's Four.

He walks over to me and takes the gun out of my hand gently and puts it on my bedside. I face him and look down. He lifts my chin so I look at him and then kisses me. I kiss back just out of habit but I still got a little uncomfortable, I haven't kissed someone in 2 years. Four probably kissed a million girls.

At that thought I break us apart.
"How many?" I ask.
"What do you mean?" He says.
"How many girls have you dated since you moved to Europe?" I say looking at him. He sits in the bed and takes my hand.
"How could I ever date another girl after I dated you?" He says. I feel something in me leap and kiss him. We kiss for a long time until I regain my conscious.

"Four you should go." I say after we kissed.
"What?" He asks. I get up remembering everything I grab Fours arm and drag him out of my room and out of my apartment. I slam the door before he can say anything. Tonight was a mistake and I won't make it again. I sit on my bed and fall asleep instantly.

TIME LAPSE

HONK!!!!!! I hear an air horn right in my ear and fall out of bed.
"RISE AND SHINE SLEEPING BEAUTY!" Uriah says. I moan and get up. I walk to the cafeteria and realize Four saved us a spot in line. I freeze in my tracks and stare at him as he talks to Zeke.

"It's ok, I'll be right next to you the whole time." Christina whispers in my ear from behind. I walk to the line again and grab a cup of coffee and a piece of toast. Four grabs the same thing. We haven't talked about last night at all. Actually we haven't talked at all.

One table isn't big enough so the guys pull up chairs. I was sitting next to Lynn and Christina, when Four pulled up a chair between me and Lynn.
"So?" Four says looking across the table. "Catch is up on what has happened so far."
"Yeah cause summing up 2 years is really easy." Lynn says sarcastically.

"Well we're all high ranking spies in Dauntless and have lived here every since you left, we've been to about 6 different countries on missions. So where did you guys live and how on earth did you become spies in London if you weren't even born there?" Shauna says.

Zeke goes on explaining how they lived in Fours mansion and how his cousin was a spy in Europe so they got to be one. Then Four held my hand under the table. I didn't move my hand but I didn't hold his. Then I squeezed his hand and let go.
"No." I whisper so only he can hear me.
"I have to go to the bathroom." he says and leaves.

Everyone looks at me.
"What?" I ask.
"What did you say to him that made him run away?" Shauna says crossing her arms.
"He had to go to the bathroom!" I almost yell. They look at each other and we eat in silence for the next couple minutes. I finish first and leave.

I dump my tray in the sink and walk in the hallway and run into Four. I start to walk in the opposite direction when he grabs my should and pulls me toward him.
"Just listen to me okay?" He asks. I stop walking and look away from him.
"You have no reason to forgive me Tris. I understand. But could we at least just start over?" He asks.

"How could I forget everything that happened? Everything I felt? I whisper.
At the word felt he looks at me again and I kiss him without thinking. I feel the sparks again that I remember to well and the tension between us disappears. I think this is why I can't forgive him. Because I missed him so much I'm scared that he'll leave me again.

We break apart and and I start to walk away.
"That's the thing," he says, "You can't forget everything you've felt. But neither can I."

TIME LAPSE

We all sit on Christina's couch and floor. Uriah is messing around by climbing a medal thick pole in the corner of her apartment and we are trying to decide on a movie.
"Dumb and Dumber." Zeke says.
"No, we don't want to watch a movie based on you and Uriah." Lynn says. He glares at her then stats cracking up for no reason and she just roles her eyes.

"Clueless!" Marlene says.
"NO LYNN I AM NOT CLUELESS," Marlene says before she can say anything.
"Red Dawn?" Four says.
"We just watched that." Christina replies.
"How about Mr. and Mrs. Smith?" Shauna says.
"YEAH!" Christina and I shout at the same time.

We put in the movie and I slowly drift off to sleep.
I wake up at 1:00 and everybody is asleep at Christina's. Then I see someone walk out of the room. A gunshot goes off making everybody wake up.

Uriah shot the gun at the pole and it pounced off the pole and hit the ceiling causing concrete to fall on Zeke.
"DAUNTLESS QUARTERS ARE FALLING!" Zeke shouts thinking they're falling because of the concrete that hit his head.

"Were under attack!" Uriah shouts and shoots at the pole again which deflects and hits the tv.
"BURGLARS!" Christina screams and runs to grab her valuables.
Shauna freaked out falls off the coach landing on Will, who thinks someone is trying to kill him.

"GIVE ME A KNIFE!" Will shouts. Lynn sees that someone is attacking Will jumps on her sister causing Al to pick up Lynn and throw her off of them.
"DAUNTLESS QUARTERS ARE FALLING!" Zeke shouts, "WERE UNDER ATTACK!" Uriah shouts and jumps on Zeke trying to "protect" him from the attackers. Marlene starts to scream at the top of her lungs cause she's so confused and then Chicken Christina's Boxer comes in barking and jumping on Al causing him to fall on Will which makes Lynn attack them.

Finally when I figure out what's going on I run and turn on the lights and shout "STOP!!!!!"
"We're not under attack, Dauntless quarters is fine, no one is trying to Kill Will, and there ARENT BURGLARS!" I yell. Everyone stops dead in there tracks and looks around.

"Uriah, why did you fire?" I ask.
"Well I had a dream and I thought it was real,and then I saw the pole and thought it was a burglar." he says looking down. Then Four walks in.

"So what did I miss?" He asks looking around.
