Chapter 24: Romeo and Juleit and Zeke

I sit in my hospital bed playing checkers with Christina. I'm so bored, and I can tell she is to.
"Why are you here Christina?" I say taking out one of her horses.
"Because I won't leave you." she responds. The answer sort of surprises me.

Then a doctor comes in.
"Ok Beatrice Prior you are free to go." he says.
I get up and unplug all the wires that were connected to me them I change into black clothes and go straight to Tobias' room.

When I walk in my heart stops. He's lying on the hospital bed with hundreds of wires connected to him, he's bruised everywhere and I can tell he has some broken bones. I fall to my knees and Uriah walks in. He kneels next to me and I cry into his shirt. "I can't do it." I whisper and run into the hall.

I go to the pharmacy.
"Um I need..." I start
"Ah yes Beatrice Prior hear you go." the lady says happily and hands me a bottle of pain killers. I start walking back to Tobias' room. I'm in an empty hallway. Perfect. I dump all the painkillers in my hand and kneel on the floor.

"I love you Tobias." I whisper and dumb them all in my mouth.

Fours POV

I follow Tris to the pharmacy and she gets a bottle of painkillers. She starts to walk back to my room when she stops in the middle of an empty hallway. She kneels on the ground and dumps them all in her hand.

"NO!" I shout, "TRIS DONT! PLEASE TRIS IM RIGHT HERE!" I shout and kneel in front of her trying to get her attention but it's no use, she cants see or hear me.

"I love you Tobias." she whispers and dumps them in her mouth.
"NO!" I scream and start to cry.
"I love you too Tris." I whisper back.

And that's when I wake up.

Tris POV

I swallow and feel sharp pain everywhere. I fall to the ground unable to hold myself up. Doctors are running up to me and carrying me away. They put me on a table then stick a ton of needles in me. I hear Christina scream my name and look to where the sound came from. Security guards are stopping them from getting to me and I close my eyes and fall into a deep sleep.

Fours POV

I wake up with wires stuck in me I'm in so much pain but I have to get to Tris. I unplug them all and a machine starts beeping. Doctors run in and push me back onto the bed.
"NO! TRIS!" I shout. "LET GO OF ME! I NEED TO GET TO TRIS." They stick a needle in me and I fight to stay awake. "Tris." I say then everything goes black.

Time lapse

I wake up again this time handcuffed to the bed. I turn to see Zeke, Will, Al, and Uriah in the chairs by my bed.
"Where's Tris?" I say startling them.
"You're awake." Al says.
"Where's Tris?" I say choking up.
"She's gonna be alright man, ok?" Zeke says.

I sigh and close my eyes. Tris will be alright, Tris will be alright.
"She attempted suicide right when she saw you." Will says
"I know." I say shocking them.
"How?" Al asks.
"I saw everything." I say.
"An out of body experience" Will says mostly talking to himself. I laugh a little and immediately pain shoots through me and I wince.

"Take it easy man," Zeke says and gets up to help me. He helps me sit up and then it was silent.

Then Uriah being Uriah had to break it, "So I'm guessing you and Tris are back together."

Just saying this is one of the most boring chapters just had to finish off the coma part😁 but the next chapter and chapter after that are way better than this.
