CHAPTER 9: The More You Know

Halfway to Ry-Ri, Jodi catches up with Ashley. Together they arrive at Ry-Ri. They walk into the building and immediately see Sun HI, Corki and Caleb inside.

Corki: Finally!

Jodi: Why did we have to come?

Caleb: Randy just-

Sun Hi: Randy just told us something amazing!! Someone contacted him and told him that they were interested in us, XO-IQ. They wanted to let us go on a world tour!

Jodi: Sun Hi, you know that we can’t go, school, remember?

Sun Hi: Let me finish! They are coming next week to watch us perform, and is we are good enough they’ll take us on a world tour AT THE END OF THE YEAR.

Jodi: THAT’S AMAZING!!! *jumps around in happiness*

Ashley: I don’t want to ruin the mood but… why did I have to come? I’m not even part of XO-IQ

Caleb: Well, you’ve been hanging out with us, so if you want to help?

Ashley: Working with a band? Heck yes!

Corki: We all need to have a thing to do. Caleb, you make sure the music is perfect. Jodi, you get the outfits and choreography done. I’ll make sure the setup is well-put together, and Ashley, you help wherever you can.

Ashley: And what does Sun Hi do?

Corki: Sun Hi does what she always does.

Sun Hi: Watch and support you guys.

Corki: Exactly. Let’s all get to work!!

Ashley: okay so, can I help anyone?

Jodi and Caleb: Yea I could use some help!

Ashley: Oh okay. Jodi, I’ll help you first. Is that okay?

Caleb: Yea sure. I’ll be at my dorm!

Ashley: Okidoki!

Jodi and Ashley walk backstage to the dressing room and start discussing the outfits. When there’s a silence Ashley asks:

Ashley: Does Sun Hi actually never help with anything?

Jodi: Well, no. Not really.

Ashley: And you guys are okay with that?

Jodi: I guess we just got used to it.

Ashley: I would be so irritated, but I guess, if it works for you guys, who am I to judge.

Jodi: Yea, she mostly promotes us on her blog, so guess that's something.

Ashley: Hmmm.

They start focusing on fashion again. 30 minutes later they have brainstormed a lot.

Jodi: I have a lot of good idea’s now. Thanks for helping again! You should go to Caleb now. He needed your help too, right?

Ashley: Yea I think he did. And no problem. I’m happy to help anytime! Bye!

Jodi: Bye!

Ashley walks to school. When she arrives at school, she realizes that she doesn’t even know where Caleb’s dorm is. While on her way to the third floor, Ashley sees the guy she and Jodi talked today.

Ashley: Hey Darmala. Weird question: Do you know a guy called Caleb and do you maybe know which dorm is his?

Darmala: Yes, I do, but why do want to know where is dorm is.

Ashley: He said he needed my help and that he’d be at his dorm.

Darmala: How does Jodi feel about that?

Ashley: Jodi? Why Jodi?

Darmala: Don’t you know? Caleb and Jodi dated.

Ashley: Wait, really?

Darmala: Yep, Jaleb was THE couple of Mackendrick.

Ashley: Wow, I didn’t know what. But can you know please tell me here his dorm is?

Darmala: First door on the right. Everyone has a sign on the door with their names tho. That should make it even easier to find it.

Ashley: Thanks!
