CHAPTER 15: Rehearse time, Band time, No chat time!

We fast forward a few days. It’s the day before the concert. XO-IQ is kind of behind schedule, because the song for the concert isn’t done yet. Caleb is in his dorm working on the song. He already has a song, but just can think of any lyrics. Then he remembers the notebook he ‘borrowed’ from Ashley’s room. He reads through the notebook and finds a page with lyrics that perfectly fit the song he put together.

Caleb: *thinks* she wouldn’t mind… right?

He writes the song down on a new paper and  puts the notebook back in his backpack. Then he makes his way to Ry-Ri. Ashley and Sun Hi are both at Ry-Ri. They are just chatting.

Ashley: Wait, I forget every time. You’re boyfriend’s name is Linc right?

Sun Hi: Yep, Linc Harrison.

Ashley: So… how did that happen?

Sun Hi: Well, I hated him at first, but then kissed me, and then again and then we got stranded in some random town and he asked me to be his girlfriend.

Ashley: That’s really cute!

Sun Hi: And you? You and Caleb, right?

Ashley: Wait, what.

Sun Hi: You and Caleb? You don’t have anything?

Ashley: What, why would you even think that?

Sun Hi: I don’t know, it’s sounds like you guys send a lot of time together.

Ashley: Sun Hi, sleeping in the same room as someone doesn’t mean that you like him. And plus, we’re just friends.

Sun Hi: If you say so. You know, he isn’t that bad of a boyfriend. Seeing how he treated Jodi.

Ashley: Yea, he seems like a trustworthy guy.

Sun Hi: He would probably never steal anything, or cheat. He did kiss another girl tho.

Ashley: Wowww, he-

Sun Hi: It wasn’t his fault, but everything started to go downhill from that moment on.

Ashley: Hmm, I thought they broke up because of Darmala.

Sun Hi: Well, he didn’t really help either, by hitting on Jodi.

Ashley: Damn… And Corki and Alex?

Sun Hi: Well, they first met in the supply closet, and then Corki helped him to work for the enemy, Linc at the moment, and then Corki broke up with her boyfriend named Jared. Let’s just say it was pretty obvious that Alex had a crush on Corki.

Ashley: Wow, you guys are all so lucky! I can’t believe Xo-IQ has been through so much.

Sun Hi: I guess our love for music keeps us together. Especially after the break up between Jodi and-

Caleb: Hey guys!

Sun Hi: -Caleb

Caleb: You were talking about me?

Ashley: Nah, did you finish the song?

Caleb: Sure did! Where are Jodi and Corki?

Sun Hi: They are still at school. Should I text them to come? Then we can rehearse.

Ashley: Great Idea!

They wait for Jodi and Corki to come to Ry-Ri. They arrive and put on their stage outfits to rehearse. Then Ashley gets a call. She picks up the phone and says yes a few times. Then she hangs up.

Ashley: I’m sorry but I have to go. Good luck rehearsing!

Caleb: Bye!

Sun Hi: See you later!

Ashley walks out and Caleb start handing out the papers with lyrics. XO-IQ takes a look at the lines.

Jodi: Caleb, these lyrics are so good! Where did you get the inspiration?

Caleb: Oh, um, just from my head. *nervous laughter*

Sun Hi: Jodi is right. These lyrics are genius.

Corki: Let’s just start rehearsing then.

They rehearse until the evening. They order pizza and let it be delivered at Ry-Ri. They eat it and then rehearse again. At 8.15pm they know the entire song. And the choreography is going perfect every time. They decide it’s time to go to school and get rest for the big concert tomorrow.
