XO-IQ is finding their way to the main stage. They walk into the wrong direction a few times, but despite that they make it in time. XO-IQ walks into the room; Everything in this place is huge! The stage is huge, the hall for the audience is huge, the lights are huge; everything. Everything, except for the actual audience. XO-IQ just assumes that a lot of people haven’t arrived yet. They were right; a few other bands arrive too, even though there still aren’t as much bands as XO-IQ had expected. They did see L3 arrive too. They sat down in front of XO-IQ. When everyone has taken their seats, the lights go out, the only light that stays on is the light of the stage. DJ Maxwell walks onto the stage and everyone applauds.
DJ Maxwell: Welcome everyone! Thank you all for wanting to compete in this competition. As some of you might have noticed, because I see some familiar faces, this competition will be even bigger and better than Band Blast! Some things will be similar though; This musical adventure will also be filmed, and of course, the winner gets a trophy. Some other things will be different; this hotel is huge and has more rehearsal spaces, so your rehearsal time won’t be limited. This competition, the show will start of a little different. At the opening of the show, everybody will be performing an opening performance. Every single one of you will be assigned a partner for this dance, since it’s made for two persons. Later this day you will receive a list of the duos, but for now, go enjoy the rest of your day.
With that being said, DJ Maxwell leaves the stage. The band slowly make their way out of the hall. XO-IQ gets back to their dorms.
Sun Hi: I’m so glad we didn’t have to interact with L3.
Jodi: Don’t jinx it! We still have a week in the same hotel.
Sun Hi: Doesn’t matter. There’s not thing that can ruin my day!
Ashley: Guys! The list with duos has been sent to us!
Everyone grabs their phones and starts scrolling through the list.
Caleb: Hey Jodi, we’re a duo!
Jodi: Sweet! *gives Caleb a high five*
Corki: I’m with Darmala, could be worse, I guess.
Ashley: I’m with Alex… Wait- I actually have to perform too?! That makes no sense, why would I-
Sun Hi: AAAHHHHHH (scream at the top of her lungs) Oh. My. God. No… no no no!
Jodi: What’s wrong?!
Sun Hi: *shows phone* I’M WITH LINC! MY LIFE IS OFFICIALLY OVER!
Corki: Uh-Oh…
Ashley: Can’t you just ask Maxwell if you can switch?
Sun Hi: I could… but not now. Let’s just relax now…
