CHAPTER 19: The Masterplan

It’s still the same day. Sun Hi and Linc are hanging out together.

Linc: I really miss spending time together! You are with XO-IQ 24/7.

Sun Hi: I miss hanging out with you too. But the band is my passion! Did you know, we are going on a world tour at the end of the semester!

Linc: That’s awesome! Where will you be going?

Sun Hi: South-Amerika, Asia and some cities in Europe.

Linc: That will take forever! What do I do in the main time?

Sun Hi: Didn’t you and L3 perform at Ry-Ri when we were at Sparkview? Can’t you do that again?

Linc: No offence, but it kind of sounds like you’re just giving us leftovers.

Sun Hi: What’s that supposed to mean?

Linc: It’s just not fair, you guys go on these cool adventures, and L3 can just watch over your club while you’re gone. L3 deserves a shot too.

Sun Hi: Excuse me, Mr. sharing-is-caring, do you want me to gift you a world tour?! Because that’s not happening!

Linc: I guess we’re back to rivals then.

Sun Hi: Wait are you actually-

Linc: If we’re doing it like this, yes. We’re done.

Sun Hi: I can’t believe how selfish you are! Breaking up over a world tour?! What’s wrong with you?

Linc: It’s not only the world tour, it’s everything. Jealousy, your ego, your band, the way you keep on 1-upping me. It’s so frustrating!

Sun Hi: You just can’t handle the fact that I’m better than you.

Linc: Whatever, it won’t be long until L3 is the best band of Mackendrick.

Linc gets up and leaves. Sun Hi calls everybody for a Sun Hi emergency. Not because she needs to be comforted, but she wants to come up with a plan to make sure that L3 won’t become better than them. Everybody gathers at the girls dorm.

Sun Hi: Okay. We have a problem, and that problem has a name. Linc Harrison.

Ashley: Do you have a picture? I don’t think I’ve met him either.

Sun Hi: Sure!

Within a second, Sun Hi rips a paper off of a big sketch book that’s standing on an easel. Beneath the paper, there’s a big picture of Linc with a moustache, clearly drawn by Sun Hi, and a list of his weaknesses and strengths next to his head.

Ashley: Oh god.

Jodi: What’s the matter with Linc?

Sun Hi: He broke up with me and is now trying to make L3 a better band than XO-IQ, again!

Caleb: He broke up with you? Sorry for tha-

Sun Hi: No time for emotions, Caleb *puts her hand palm right in front of Caleb’s face* We have a band to destroy.

Ashley: Destroy? That doesn’t sound good.

Jodi: Don’t worry, destroy in Sun Hi-language basically means; ‘To be better than someone and show that to everyone’

Ashley: Got it.

Caleb: How are we going to 1-up them? We already know how good they are.

Sun Hi: That’s why I came up with a plan!

Jodi: *whispers to Ashley* See, once she comes up with a plan, THAT’S when you should start worrying.

Sun Hi: This is my plan…

Sun Hi rips the picture off the sketch book and reveals a paper covered in words, arrows and, somehow, skulls.

Sun Hi: The plan is easy. Corki goes to spy on L3 again. This time it’s going to be easier, since she actually has a reason to be involved with L3.

Corki: I thought I was done with spying!

Sun Hi: I never said that.

Corki: But you-

Sun Hi: Jodi, you can hang out with Alex to see if he has any plans for certain stage outfits. Then you take those ideas and make them better. But make sure he doesn’t find out! Maybe, just maybe, you can also become closer with Darmala to see if he has any information. You and Corki are the most important parts of this mission. Ashley and Caleb, you guys just make sure our performances are better than ever! Maybe you can even get Randy to let us perform even more!

Ashley: Okay sure, but what will you be doing?

Sun Hi: Hello?! I just thought of this entire plan. That’s my part!

Jodi: Sun Hi will probably just make sure that Linc isn’t trying to get our band cancelled or anything like that.

Sun Hi: Exactly. Now chop chop, we all know what to do!
