CHAPTER 16: Dreams Come True, Right?

The next day Sun Hi is the first one to be awake. She’s very excited to perform today. She really hopes that they’ll be able to go on a world tour after all. She gets her phone and start telling the Sun Hi Nation about today. But it turns out she was a bit too loud…

Jodi: Sun Hi…? Why are you blogging at 5 in the morning?

Sun Hi: It’s only 5? Sorry hehe.

Sun Hi gets into her bed again, but she doesn’t fall asleep. She keeps rehearsing the song in her head. In no time it’s already 7am. Corki now wakes up too. They still have school today. It’s a Friday, so the weekend is coming. XO-IQ goes through a tough day of school. The 3 tests in one day are almost impossible, but they survive. It’s 4pm, and XO-IQ is at Ry-RI setting up the stage for tonight. The confetti cannons are all set up, but then suddenly one of them explodes.

Ashley: I’ll go get a broom.

Ashley leaves to get a broom from the supply closet outside of Ry-Ri. Jodi is making sure that the stage outfits are perfect, Corki is uploading the background Ashley made to the back of the stage, Caleb is setting up the speakers and Sun Hi is filming everything. Caleb plays the song they are going to perform. 1 minute later Ashley comes back with a broom. Caleb stops the music within a second, because Ashley still doesn’t know that he used her lyrics.

Ashley: Wow, what happen with the music.

Caleb: Sorry, umm, technical difficulties.

Ashley: As long as it doesn’t happen while you are performing.

Ashley start cleaning up the confetti. Corki finishes uploading the background and helps Ashley with cleaning. Some more time passes, the concert is in an hour. Everything is perfect. They are about to do the last rehearsal.

Ashley: Oh, I forgot my camera in my dorm. I’ll be back as soon as possible.

Sun Hi: We’re going to rehearse while you’re gone, okay?

Ashley: Sure!

XO-IQ rehearses 3 times, and then rests until the concert begins. In the main time, Ashley has gotten back from school. They play some board games and then get ready for the show. The concert begins. This time it’s not Caleb, but Ashley who opens the show.

Ashley: Hello everyone! You guys might not know me, but I’m XO-IQ’s manager, and I’m proud to tell you that we have a very special person among us. Someone here has given XO-IQ a chance to go on a world tour. So I want to ask everyone to help us show that XO-IQ is worth it, because we all know that they are. So now, put you’re hands together for… X… O… I… Q!!!

*lets just all pretend like they just performed Love Potion. And let’s also pretend like Love Potion is a Make It Pop song J*

At the end of the concert the crowd leaves the club, but one man stays. XO-IQ assumes that he is the person who was interested in them. They walk up to him.

Ashley: Are you the person who-

???: Wanted to give you a world tour? Yes that’s me. My name is Bryan Stone.

Sun Hi: So? What did you think? I- I mean, we were good right?

Mr Stone: I will say that I am very impressed with your skills…

Caleb: But…?

Corki: What do you mean ‘but’.

Caleb: I think situation there’s always a ‘but

Ashley: Ssst, let him talk.

Mr Stone: I don’t have any negative points about this performance. I would like to invite you to come with me on the world tour at the end of your semester.

XO-IQ: *intense mix of screams and happy dances*

Ashley: Thank you so much sir! We really appreciate it!

Mr Stone: No problem. Here’s my card. I’ll send more information soon. Good evening.

Corki: You too sir!

Mr Stone leaves and XO-IQ burst into happy dances. They are going on a world tour! Their dreams have come true! XO-IQ gets their stuff from the dressing room and start leaving Ry-Ri.

Ashley: Hey guys, can you please go to school? I have to talk to Caleb for a second.

Jodi: Oh, um. Sure.Should we celebrate at our dorm tho?

Ashley: Sounds great!

Sun Hi: Okay, see you guys later.

The girls leave and Caleb and Ashley are the only once at Ry-Ri now.

Caleb: I-is there something wrong?

Ashley: I just wanted to say, great song you made. It was really good.

Caleb: Oh, thanks. I, um, worked really hard on it.

Ashley: Yea… I mostly enjoyed the lyrics. Where did you get those from?

Caleb: Um, I, um. I was thinking, and thinking, and then-

Ashley: Oh cut the crap Caleb. We both know exactly where you got those from. Seriously, what the hell were you thinking?!

Caleb: I’m sorry, I should’ve gave you credits.

Ashley: That’s not even the point. You went through my stuff. Where did you get the audacity?! Don’t you have any respect?!

Caleb: It wasn’t on purpose…

Ashley: Oh, so you accidentally saw it, and then you accidentally read through it, and then you accidentally took it with you, and then you accidentally made it into a song?!

Caleb: More or less…

Ashley: I- I can’t even with you. I’m going to school. Bye Caleb.

Ashley walks out of Ry-Ri. Caleb still says bye, but Ashley ignores him.
