2nd Journey

Halogen assigned Vexi to give me tutors instead of Anakin and went to continue her research about the portal.

" nice to see you Again " Vexi jumped real quick up and down in joy " I'm very excited to teach you " she said while turning on the large computer screen .

Vexi started teaching while I opened my chemistry book and started reading about atoms when "oh ! " I remembred to tell the guys about Radium.

"Driinng !! " It was the bell ringing for my break time , I went towards the couch and sat to take some rest ,but I remembered about Radium again.

" Halogen , I forgot to tell you about the Radium element "I said while pulling out my chemistry book from inside my bag " Ya ,what about it ? " Halogen asked " Radium is a radioactive element which kills living cells and it's found in Canada " I replied.

" Canada ! ,that's far comparing to Poland "Halogen said while moving towards the large hologramic computer .

" it might take 1 weeks to restore the Radium element , but before we leave we have to prepare and refill the teleportation pod which will take about 1 day " Halogen said after typing certain calculations on the computer.

" uh ! , I'll miss you guys , good luck on your mission " I smiled while packing up my materials " hold on ,did you think we would let you stay here for a week without supervision and while knowing our top secret " Halogen said while looking in her serious tone .

" We're going together on a road trip again ! " Vexi jumped in excitement " what ! no way I'm going for 1 whole week " I said while turning around and crossing my arms .

"Ofcourse you will " Anakin said while putting his hands on my shoulder "but I don't wanna " I whined " don't worry , it's going to be fun " Vexi twirled in joy .

I can't believe I'm going on a journey for the second time without my will .

I started walking back home after Halogen told me to get some rest and to start preparing for our 1 week journey , I opened the door to our house and entered while greeting in a loud voice , " Hi Grani " I greeted " Hello Astrid "Grandma replied.

I went upstairs to change my clothes and went back downstairs as I finished, Grandma prepared delicious meals and told me to finish eating as much as I can ,I started eating a lot of food until "So....how was your day " Grandma asked " it was great , we had lots of activities and games " I replied while stuffing my face with the load of food grandma placed in front of me " sure , so was it the Chestnut Carnival today ? " Grandma asked " Y....a ,it was " I replied even though I wasn't sure about it " really , I thought the Chestnut Carnival was on Monday " Grandma started looking at me in suspicion " I ..... " I paused  I had no excuses this time, I was trapped by grandmas intelligence and strenuous questions.

" I forgot to ask you about mom , how is her meeting ? " I uttered trying to change the subject and luckily grandma has a very short attention span , " You're mom's fine ,but I think they postponed their meeting because of the nano bot situation and she might stay there for a little long " Grandma replied.

I'm glad that I was able to change the subject , but the nano bot matter is getting to my head , how did nano bots enter our city and why ?

I went upstairs as I finished eating dinner and went to sleep as the train of dream town arrived.

" AAAAAAAA !!! " someone screamed , I woke up from my bed and looked around my room , it was already morning , I thought I heard someone screaming, but no one was actually inside my room .

I went downstairs and saw grandma sitting on the couch and watching TV , " Grandma ! why are you screaming ? " I asked in confusion as I saw grandma screaming in joy " Today is the marathon of brany the detective ! " Grandma replied in Joy .

I can't believe I came all the way down here to hear grandmas blurb about her favourite show.

I moved towards the kitchen stand and started eating breakfast , " Astrid ! " Someone yelled from the other side of the window,  I turned around and saw Anakin waving his hands and knocking the window.

" Phssh ! " I spilled out the milk I was drinking and went close to the windows to open it , " hi Astrid ! " Anakin greeted as I opened the window " Ankain !! what are you doing here! " I yelled " Halogen told me to pick you up " Anakin nodded.

" what ! Not now ! " I replied in anger, " hani who are you talking to " Grandma yelled while sitting on the couch and watching her favourite show " n...no one ! " I replied " you're not talking to yourself again, are you ? " Grandma asked .

" You talk to yourself , and to think I was crazy " Anakin muttered " shut up ! " I clamoured and pushed Anakin towards the grass while turning around to look at grandma.

Grandma stood up from the couch to refill her juice by coming inside the kitchen while Anakin started knocking the windows again.

" what's that? " Grandma asked as she heard a knocking voice " nothing ! " I panicked , grandma turned her face around again and finished refilling her juice when " Astrid ! " Ankain started calling my name .

" did I just hear someone calling Astrid  ? " grandma said while trying to look behind me "n..no ,I was just memorizing flower names like.....Acanthus " I said while trying to cover Anakin by standing in front of him.

" oh , you're such a smart girl , just studying about plants " Grandma said while pinching my cheeks " heeh 😦 " I nodded .

Grandma went back to her place and continued watching her show , phew ! that was close .
