Kidnapped by Jack

I looked what's inside the box , and it had piece of paper , but it looked a lot like a motherboard instead of paper .

The paper had a map to an alley where the core chip of all nano bots is located . It would be a great relief if I'm able to fetch the core chip so we can easily destroy the nano bots, but why would Jack give me such an important information, is he giving up or setting a trap.

Anyways , I'll have to keep this map with me , just in case I decided to go.

I climbed back on my bed and slept cause I was tired .

4 days later .....

* yawns *

" uh ! Another free day to spend on my on "

I woke up early in the morning and went downstairs for breakfast. I'm glad that Dorzi is back to her home , Now I can speak to grandma freely about our secret.

Besides , school is finally over and I have 3 more days off from the secret place.

" so Astrid, how's your mission going " Grandma said while giving me a plate " we...ll , it's normal " I replied in a sad tone " what's wrong ? " Grandma asked while sitting next to me .

" it's nothing "

" come on Astrid , you know you can't fool your grandma " Grandma nodded .

" it's just that I feel a bit sad cause my friends are leaving and not coming back " I replied " uh hani , I know how you feel " grandma patted my shoulders " you do 🥺 " I said while turning around and looking at grandma.

" ya , why don't you try to have more fun before they go back " grandma suggested " you're right !! I will " I said while standing up from my seat .

I run upstairs and stuffed my materials inside my bag and rushed outside. I started walking towards the secret place when something triggered me to open my bag . It was my phone ringing.

I picked up my phone , but no one spoke to me as I picked it up " hello! Hello!! " I called , but no one answered.

I end the call and inserted my bag when I spotted the piece of paper from 4 days earlier.

I was really tempted to go to that alley cause if I found the core chip then I'll be able to put an end to the nano bot situation . I started walking towards the alley on the map .

The weather was calm and cozy. Everyone was at home cause they're terrified to go outside after they've heard the nano bot incident .

I arrived at the alley while looking around me , I walked through the alley and for my surprise , I found a micro chip laying on the ground.

" yay ! Phew " I said while picking up the chip from the floor and inserting it into my bag. I turned around to head back home when " AAAAAAA!! " I just spotted a human wearing pink face cover standing right in front of me .
