Cafe with Amelia

I continued doing my research for about an extra one hour and head home as I finished doing my research .

The weather was calm and cozy , the sky is filled with evaporating clouds and the sun is about to set .

I can't help smiling whenever I see weathers which are dazzling . An ice-cream truck parked near the place I was walking on and opened its melodious tone which grabbed the attention of the kids all around the area .

" It has been a while since I ate ice-cream "I said while running along with the kids to get one for myself , but the line was too long that I waited for more hour . Wow what a slow ice-cream waiting line .

After waiting for long I finally reached the first line . " 😶 " I paused as I saw The ice-cream man clothing the doors and heading away . " noooo!!!!! " I yelled in anger cause that's all I can do .

I walked towards home even if I'm way late , I hope grandma doesn't notice that .

" hello Astrid ! " grandma greeted as she opened the door even if I didn't knock it , " grandma ? , how did you know I was coming ? " I asked in confusion " oh Astrid , I'm you're grandma, I know things " Grandma replied.

I entered home and went upstairs, but I went to deep sleep as I layed on my bed .

ND ....
" Astrid !! " Someone started yelling while hitting my blanket , " ouch ! " I yelled as I stood up and looked around .
It was grandma who was banging me to waking up from my deep sleep , I started wearing my normal clothes as grandma left my room .

I went downstairs and exited the house while packing my materials . " Astrid " someone yelled from a distance , I turned around and saw Amelia jogging towards me . " hi Astrid " Amelia greeted " Amelia !! " I jumped and hugged Amelia tight , " I missed you so much " I sniffled as I hugged her even tighter " what do you mean , we met at school yesterday " she giggled " that was my stupid clone not me " I accidentally spilled out the words out of my mouth .

" clone ? What are you talking about ? " Amelia interrogated " I'm...it's about a clawn movie, ya I totally ment clawn " I tried to cover up my mistakes with a small lie .

" so what are you going to do today ? " Amelia asked " I was going to do some... studying " I replied.

" I have a better idea , let's go to our favourite cafe of all time " Amelia suggested " I.. I .." , " come on it'll be fun " Amelia smiled in joy .

" ok fine " I replied . We went to the nearest cafe cause our favourite cafe was too far ( it was actually a block away , but we were lazy to go there ) .

We entered the Cafe and sat on our table . The waiter came a long as we were looking at our menu . " what can I get you ladies " The waiter asked , but his voice was very familiar.

I looked up to see the waiter and I was terrified , " Jack !! " I yelled in a loud voice " huh ? " Amelia and the rest of the people in the cafeteria stared at me as I shouted out a random name " I...I love The movie Jack and the bean 😅 " I smiled towards Amelia in stress .

The people in the cafe turned around to their business , while Amelia continued reading her menu " it's quite nice that we meet again " Jack whispered while coming close to my ears .

I kept pressing my hands in anger , I really wanted to fight him , but not with all this people around and even if I do , he'll probably win .

" I'll take a medium sized cheeseburger " Amelia said while looking at Jack " Very well , what about you my lady " Jack asked while turning towards me.

" m..me , u...h , water is fine " I nodded " come on ! Water ?! " Amelia said in anger " hmm...or .." I was terrified , I can't trust Jack , what if he poisons the food on the way , what if there are nano bots inside the food , what if there is some kinda bomb or laser inside the food ! .

I might be overreacting , but Jack is Insane, who knows what he can do , " are you going to order or ? " Amelia interrupted my deep thinking and the case seniors I'm thinking of .

" I'll take a milkshake please " I replied , I had no other choice but to accept that I'm going to be okay .

After some minutes Jack brought our meal and siged " bon appetit ! " he smirked as he left our table ( when did he learn French ? ) .

After we ate our meal we went back to our homes and end the day by going back to our bed .
