Grandma 🤦‍♀️

Grandma was packing up huge bags while wearing sunny day clothes as if she's ready to go somewhere.

" Grandma! I'm glad you're okay " I said while hugging grandma in relief " I thought you said there's an emergency ? " I asked grandma in Confusion " Oh ya , the emergency ! I decided to take you to the beach today " Grandma replied in joy .

" what !! That's the emergency !" I yelled in anger " plus , we are staying at a hotel near the beach for the entire day , isn't that great ! " Grandma exclaimed in excitement " but Grandma we're in the middle of school year " I paused "don't worry, school can't disappear anywhere, now go upstairs and get ready for our Vacation ! it's gonna be fun " Grandma said while continuing her job on packing her luggages .

I can't believe grandma called me all the way here just to go on a vacation .I changed my clothes and packed my materials for the trip , " Astrid ! what's taking you forever " Grandma yelled while waiting in the car " I'm coming grandma " I replied while rushing downstairs.

It's okay to go on a vacation sometimes, but I wish someone else was driving the car instead of Grandma ." Finally , were you sleeping upstairs ! " Grandma muttered while looking at me in anger .

Grandma was sitting next to me instead of sitting in the front driving place , I wonder who is driving us to the beach .

" Hi Nana " Tyson greeted while opening the front door and plugging the key to start the engine , phew ! I'm glad that Tyson is driving us to the beach .

We started our trip at 12 : 34 Pm . The weather was sunny and very bright . Grandma started telling us stories about her childhood and family when " we're here " Tyson said as we arrived at the beach , " thanks dear , you're such a good boy " Grandma said while patting Tysons head .

We clutched our baggages and went to the beach . I was surprised to see the beach completely empty , that's the best thing ever .

" Wow the nano bots must've scared everyone for sure " I giggled . We went to the hotel and entered our room , after unpacking our materials we went downstairs to the main hall of the hotel , but it was as empty as a vacuum.

" yay , no one is around " I jumped in joy " I knew this was a great idea " Grandma replied.

On one hand I'm happy to see the hotel and the beach completely empty except for the employees , but in the other hand grandma is crazy enough to make us the only ones going on a vacation in a situation like this .

Grandma and I kept ordering sweets which reminded me of my mom , I took out my phone from my pocket and started calling mom , " system unavailable " the phone monitor stated . I'm very worried about mom , she never answered my calls or called to check on us , I hope she's okay wherever she is .

" Astrid , what's wrong ? " Grandma asked as she saw the look on my face " " n...nothing , " I replied .

I went upstairs to our hotel room and went out of the balcony . The weather was very calm and cozy , I can see the stars sparkling from a distance.

" uh ! Oh no ! I forgot to tell the guys that I'm on a vacation !! " The moment I remembered that I forgot to tell my friends about the Vacation , the TV in our hotel room interrupted for breaking news.

" The majority of people in Anthea have been acting in a strange manner and repeating that A guy named Jack is their orderer. Doctors found out that some patients have a small electronic chip attached to their neck which may be causing the strange act . Some people are found lifeless on the streets who had chips attached on their neck too . We have found a short clip of the Guy named Jack threatening our entire City " The news reporter stated while preparing the short video clip to reveal it to the audience.

" Hello Citizens of the entire word , hope you're watching this . I'll control all of you soon as time passes , so don't try to hide too much . HA ! HA! HA! * crazy laughs *

I was shocked to hear the news . How are we going to stop this crazy minded guy if Halogen and the others are too busy collecting those elements.

I have to find a solution to this , but I don't think I'm going to succeed alone .

" huh ! We're almost there , the Rubidium is located in this area " Halogen said while looking at her watch " Halogen , why are you so worried " Vexi asked in concer as she saw Halogen facing her watch in a sad eye " hmm... was I wrong to involve Astrid in this situation " Halogen nodded " what do you mean ? " Vexi asked in confusion " I mean , what if we don't succeed in our mission , will we lose everyone and everything " Halogen uttered in sorrow " Halogen! What are you saying , ofcaurse we're going to succeed with you around , that's why you're our leader " Vexi smiled in joy to comfort Halogen .

" Remember why we vouleenteered for this mission , all we wanted back then was to reach the level of superiority like everyone wants in 3029 , but now ,I just wanna save our Universe and the people I love " Halogen replied . Vexi stopped jumping and sat next to Halogen . " you're right , when I first herd of this mission I was not interested, but I did it for my sake anyways . But I understand that we're doing this for all of us and not only for me " Vexi added .

" I wish our family we're here to support us " Halogen said while her eyes filled with tear .

" cheer up Halogen, we're choosed for this mission and we have to be proud of it and I'm sure that our family are proud of us too " Vexi stood up and jumped in excitement " you're right Vexi , thanks for reminding me " Halogen replied .
