POV: Anakin

Astrid clothed the door after saying goodbye and I started walking towards the secret place.

I stopped by at an ice-cream truck as I heard kids yelling " ice-cream ! " . I bought an ice-cream and continued walking.

This century is very weird and kinda nice . people walk together on the streets , they help each other out and walk old people on the zebra cross.

I'm surprised with these dimension since I arrived . Where all years like this before us ?

I continued my way talking to myself and I finally arrived. The door opened automatically and I entered the place.

" dude ! You got try these ice-cream 🤤 " I said while placing the ice-cream I licked in front of Eythor as he was working " what ! no ! Move aside I'm working " Eythor scolded.

" but it's tast__. " I paused as the ice-cream fell on Eythors hair , he slowly turned around and looked at me in a creepy way .

" I told you to move aside !!! Look what you did !! You idiot!! " Eythor yelled and screamed in anger .
" come on , it's not that bad " I mumbled " urgh ! " Eythor said while pulling out a short blanket from the shelf and whipping his hair .

I sat on the couch and did nothing. There was one thing going on my head though . I don't know why , but whenever I see Astrid I feel something strange.

I start to get nervous and awkward , but I try to act normal. " hey Eythor! Can I ask you something " I yelled randomly cause I was too lazy to turn around .

" what ! " Eythor turned around " look dude , I don't know why , but I kinda feel nervous and awkward all of sudden when I'm around Astrid , is it normal?? " I asked " ya , you just like her that's all " Eythor replied.

" whaaaaat !!? What is that supposed to mean ? is my micro chip damaged or something " I said in confusion " no , some rare micro chips allow feelings to operate while some don't " Eythor replied. " are your micro chip one of those ? " I asked " why do you care " Eythor replied.

" I just wanna make sure if you like A__ . " Eythor cut me off and hit my head .

" ouch ! hmm.... " I started thinking about what Eythor said and " wait !! WHAAAAAAAT!! 🤯 "

Next day ....

POV : Astrid

I woke up early in the morning and went downstairs for breakfast. Grandma cooked chicken soup for breakfast which surprised me a lot. She never cook soups on breakfast ?

I sat on my chair and grandma greeted in a warm ton . " hello my small child " , " hey grandma " I smiled .

Grandma asked me about our mission and how it's going . I told her about our situation and how hard everything is,  but she told me not to give up and to always help my friends.

I went outside after breakfast and started walking to the secret place when I suddenly spotted Amelia sitting on a bench next to a street light .

I rushed towards her to greet her , but she was wearing an earphone so she couldn't hear me .

" Amelia!! Amelia! " I waved my hands as I arrived at the bench . She raised her head upwards slowly and took off her earphones .

" oh it's you " she said while turning around towards her phone " where have you been I missed you so much " I said while giving her a tight hug.

" I was sitting I guess " she said while rolling her eyes to the other direction " are you okay Amelia , you look sad today " I asked " hmm...." she murmured.

It was now that I remembered about bailing at her birthday " look , I'm so sorry about your birthday . I had something very important to do that day " I explained " important ! What was important than my birthday at that time ! " Amelia scolded.

" I...I " I paused " I can't say "

" what's wrong with you Astrid!! . You keep getting stuck whenever I ask you where have you been . What's the so called important secret you're keeping from me ! " Amelia said while standing up.

" it's just __. "

" no !! It's too much ! You never speak to me or even seat with me at school , you keep ignoring my calls and messages , you didn't show up at my birthday and you didn't come on the slumber part I invited you yesterday " Amelia retorted in anger .

" slumber party ? " I paused " ya ! plus I see you hanging with these tall and new people whenever you come from school . Astrid just tell me what's going on " Amelia said while seating back next to me .

" I ....I can't " 

Amelia stood up from her seat and hold her bag " Sorry Astrid,  but if you can't share important things with your best friend then I can't be one " She replied

" huh ? , what do you mean ? " I asked

" We need some time apart from each other , maybe you'll find a best friend who's okay not knowing your secrets " she responded and started walking towards the other direction.

I stood up from the bench and started walking towards the secret place too . How did I lose my best friend in just a minute ! .

I hope Amelia will understand once I tell her everything after my friends return back to their dimension.

I arrived and entered to the secret place when I found Eythor and Anakin getting ready to get out .

" guys , where are going to? " I asked " we have to reduce the number of nano bots today , so we're preparing our gadgets to leave " Eythor replied.

" I'll come too " I said while picking up a gun from the shelf " fine , just wear this " Eythor said while giving me a protective suit which was super cool , but very uncomfortable .

I also Carried my guns and started taking pictures of my cloth.

" let's get going " Eythor said while leaving the room .

We followed Eythor outside and continued searching for nano bots to destroy.

This is the best part about laser guns ,they can destroy anything .
