seungcheol looked up from the book he was reading once he realised that jeonghan hadn't spoken in a while. they were currently in the library, studying for an exam they had next week.
he turned to face the younger and smiled when he saw him laying on the book he had been reading, asleep. seungcheol closed his book and put it in his bag, before standing up and going closer to jeonghan.
"hannie," he said quietly, but the other didn't move in the slightest. "gosh... how much sleep have you been getting?"
he crouched down and stroked his hair, trying to wake him up in a different way, and this time it worked. jeonghan slowly started to wake up and he opened his eyes. seungcheol took his hand away as jeonghan carefully sat up on the chair.
"i fell asleep?" he questioned, confused, and looked up to seungcheol who just nodded.
"how much sleep have you even been getting?" the older asked, worried.
"ummm, enough...?" jeonghan replied nervously, trying to avoid the question.
"jeonghan..." he started and sat back down in his chair, facing the other this time. "tell me the truth."
"okay, fine! i haven't been getting as much sleep as usual since i've been trying to study more... i don't want to fail this exam!" he exclaimed.
seungcheol sighed. "your health is more important than this exam. i'm taking you home," he told him before starting to gather up all their stuff.
"no, i'm fine! i don't need to go home," he whined, glaring at the other.
"i don't care if you say you're okay or not. it's late and you need sleep," he responded, not listening to jeonghan's protests.
"why do you care anyway?" he muttered, annoyed.
"why do i care? because i'm your boyfriend," seungcheol rolled his eyes playfully.
jeonghan blushed and looked down at the mention of their relationship. seungcheol giggled at his reaction and smiled at him. "you're still not used to it? we've been together for three weeks now."
jeonghan looked up at the older and shook his head while smiling sheepishly. seungcheol finished packing up all their stuff and stood in front of the other.
"come on, let's go," he said and held out his hand.
jeonghan smiled brightly and held his hand before they both walked out of the library, saying goodbye to the librarian on the way out. they came to this library quite often, so they were quite close with him.
seungcheol lead his boyfriend to the car and opened the door for him, jeonghan thanked him and got inside. the older walked around to the other side and got in the driver's seat. he put on his seatbelt, jeonghan doing the same, and started the engine.
"now let's get you home," seungcheol said and drove away from the library.
