JACKSON & BAMBAM
- GOT7 -
*REQUESTED*🌸🌸🌸
jackson sat at his desk, bored, not having anything to do. it was great being ceo and all, but he wasn't going to lie, it could get extremely boring sometimes. a lot of it was just paperwork and sitting at his desk for hours, only to go home and still have nothing to do.
but... he could admit that there was one thing that he absolutely loved about his job as ceo. and that was his assistant, bambam. he had been jackson's assistant for around a year now, and he was extremely glad that he decided to hire the younger. bambam was amazing at his job, but was also an amazing person in general.
to be honest, a lot of the time, it was more like they were friends. bambam was always getting him the things he needed and preparing everything before meetings or anything like that. and would also have proper conversations with him, which made everything so much easier.
there were some people who said and believed that they should act as if they were boss and assistant, but both jackson and bambam disagreed. the two thought that it was better that they act like this because it made everything so much easier and more comfortable, since if you don't (at least every now and then) it makes things awkward.
despite them being friends, they always knew when they had to be responsible and professional. they always knew when it was best for them to seem as if they were more boss and assistant. for example, when they were in meetings, jackson wouldn't talk to bambam that much, and would only really speak to him when he needed ask or ask for something.

"stop staring at him," bambam's colleague youngjae said as he laughed slightly.
bambam looked at him confused. "what do you mean? staring at who?"
"oh, come on! it's obvious that you're staring at our boss over there, you're practically drooling over him," the older said, a grin present on his face.
"i'm not!" bambam tried to deny, but it was kind of stupid to, considering straight after he said that, he turned his head back to look at jackson.
youngjae wasn't clueless. he may be chaotic and crazy sometimes, but he was smart enough to know that there was something going on with bambam and jackson. he understood that they were close friends, as well as boss and assistant, but he wasn't blind. he noticed how bambam would always steal glances at jackson when he wasn't looking, and how jackson would always do the same back.
he let out a sigh as he smiled slightly, before looking back down at the paper on his desk. "i can't wait until you two realise," he muttered quietly.
"huh? did you say something?" bambam asked, turning to look at the older.
"no, no, no, don't worry. you can go back to staring, it's fine," youngjae said, smirking while staring at his paper. he felt bambam glare at his head, before turning back around.
"hey, i have that meeting soon, do you mind helping out?" youngjae immediately looked up when he heard their boss' voice, and saw jackson there, looking down at bambam who was still sat on a chair in front of youngjae's desk.
"of course, i'll be there in a second," bambam agreed and jackson nodded before turning around and walking away to his office. the younger stood up from the chair and then looked at youngjae. "i'll see you later."
"mhm!" youngjae hummed as he stared up at bambam. "have fun~"
bambam scoffed, but couldn't help but laugh slightly. "yeah, whatever. shut up."
youngjae just smiled innocently at him before bambam turned around and went in the same direction that jackson had gone in towards his office. once he got there, he knocked on the door to warn him that he was going inside, before opening the large door. he walked in and closed the door behind him, he was greeted with his boss sat at his desk with a pen in his hand, looking at him with a small smile.
"the paperwork's over there," jackson told him, pointing at the medium sized pile of paper with his pen. "if you could sort it out for me i'd really appreciate it."
bambam walked over and sat down on the couch that had a table in front of it. he started going through the paper, putting the things that had information about what they were going to talk about on one side, and the others on another side. jackson was really lucky to have an assistant like bambam, considering he wasn't the most organised of people.
while doing so, he happened to not notice that jackson was staring at him the whole time. the boss was thinking about something he was very confused about, and was basically having a whole argument with the thoughts inside his head.
for example... why did he not want to take his eyes off of bambam? it was like he didn't want to look away, but he obviously didn't want to sound like some sort of creep. he remembered when he had his first crush, and he asked him mother how to know if he genuinely liked them.
she told him something very helpful. "if you genuinely like someone, you never want to be away from them and always want to be around them. you're always staring or looking at them whenever there anywhere close to you. and you're also constantly thinking about them."
jackson had been doing all these things towards bambam. he never wanted to be away from the younger. he was always staring, looking or glancing at him at any chance he got. and always also always thinking about bambam non-stop. sometimes he even wondered what his life would be like if they were... more than friends.
just as he had that thought... he suddenly remembered the one rule this entire company had. it was something that nobody, including jackson, couldn't change, despite him literally being the ceo. employees weren't allowed to be in a relationship with anyone who was a higher rank than they were.
jackson scoffed quietly as he thought about that rule. it was a stupid rule, in his, and many others' opinion. but it didn't matter what he thought about it. he had now confirmed that he had a massive crush on bambam, and was basically full on in love with him. and now that he was finally sure of that, he was going to do anything to get rid of that ridiculous rule.
