changmin groaned softly as he flopped down onto the couch. his friends were being extremely chaotic, and him being the most sober one, had to try and keep them under control. they were already crazy enough when they weren't drunk, so it was even worse when they were.
but he had finally gotten a break from them since a couple of them had fallen asleep in one of the bedrooms, and the others were now being looked after by another one of their friends. he was very relieved when he could finally get a break. it was like looking after kids.
he rested his head back against the couch, sighing. his eyes scanned around the place and all the drunk people in the house. some were sleeping or passed out, some were dancing, some were doing random, crazy shit, and obviously some were making out.
but... there was one thing in particular that he noticed.
he could see through the kitchen doorway, that there was nobody in there except a few guys. but what he caught notice of the most, was that one of them looked like he was really uncomfortable, while the others seemed like they were checking him out, while the other couple were being kind of touchy with him.
he furrowed his eyebrows, feeling himself sober up more at sight. for some reason he felt angry. the boy looked up at changmin then recognised who it was. it was choi chanhee. the boy wasn't the most well-known person in the school, but he had a small friend group, and knew quite a lot of people. he was openly gay and proud of it.
changmin felt a sudden urge to walk in there and do something about what they were doing. but he wasn't sure what to do.
"fuck it," he whispered to himself before standing up and walking into he kitchen. the guys looked up when they saw changmin walk in. he noticed the nervous looks that appeared on their faces when he arrived, making him realise that he could kick them out if he wanted to, since it was his best friend's house after all, and everyone knew that. "what are you boys up to then, huh?"
he raised his eyebrows as the boys stuttered out incoherent words. he could tell that they weren't sure what to say. changmin glanced over at chanhee, who looked a bit more relieved now that someone had confront the guys. he looked back at them before motioning them to leave.
they stared at him, as if they didn't understand him. "well what are you waiting for?! leave!" they immediately rushed out of the kitchen at his command. once they were gone, he turned to chanhee and slowly approached him. the older looked up, nervously. "you okay?"
