We had decided to venture outside the room once the booze had run dry, in search of more.
Stumbling into the first bar we came across, it was a miracle we had even gotten in; Bonehead could barely stand on his own.

Liam went straight to the bar ordering us a round and the rest of us found a table. Noel sat across from me, popping tiny coloured pills in his mouth and offered the bag to the rest of the table as Liam came back with beers.

He set them on the table and sat next to me in the empty chair, his hand immediately resting on my thigh.

We sat civilized for twenty minutes before everything swiftly unravelled with one comment from Liam.

Noel looked at his watch and then at the rest of us. "We should call it quits," he announced. "We've got a soundcheck at nine"

"I'll call it quits when I fuckin' well feel like" Liam snapped before snatching up Noel's wallet from the middle of the table.

I looked across the table at Noel who hadn't even noticed, he was busy talking to Bonehead. This was about to get very ugly, very fast.

Liam slid it to me under the table and we both slid off our chairs; Noel looked up curiously.

"Change your minds?"

"No" Liam shook his head leading me towards the door; we were getting ready to bolt.

"But we're going to buy a few more drinks on your tab" I smiled holding up his wallet.

Noel frowned and turned looking at the table realizing his wallet was gone. Liam and I ran for the door as soon as Noel had started to get up.
We ran like hell once we were outside, I could hear Noel not far behind, no way in hell was I about to stop when I was the one with his wallet.
We rounded the corner; the streets were empty given that it was three in the morning on a Tuesday. Liam grabbed my hand pulling me off the street into an alley way. We ran halfway up before stopping behind a dumpster to catch our breath.

I looked at Liam and couldn't help laughing as I tucked Noel's wallet in my bra. "Are you fucking stupid?"

He smiled back. "Our Kid needs a little excitement in his life" he breathed heavily looking over his shoulder out onto the street.

"Did you have to drag me into it?"

He nodded. "Course I-"

I slapped my hand over his mouth when I saw Noel at the mouth of the alleyway. I put my finger to my lips and pulled my hand away as he looked over his shoulder.
Despite my telling him to be quiet Liam whistled a catcall down towards where Noel had been, catching his attention.

As soon as Noel recognized that it was Liam we took off through the other end of the alley.

"I hate you" I huffed as we ran as hard as we could down the street, but I couldn't help laughing like Liam was.

"C'mon" he pulled me across the street and up another few blocks; Noel couldn't be far behind.

"Where are we going?" I laughed squeezing his hand harder.

"Liam, you fuckin' cunt!"

We both looked over our shoulder seeing Noel a few hundred feet behind us. I burst out laughing and so did he as he ran harder.

"Somewhere he can't follow" Liam answered pulling me up one more street.

I could feel my chest starting to burn; I'd never run this far or this fast in my entire life, and my body didn't like it one bit, but there was no fucking way I was letting Noel get his hands on me, he would fucking kill me if he did.
