I woke up the next morning and expected to see Noel and was greeted by Liam instead; he was passed out sleeping.
I climbed over him and helped myself to a bagel on the table.

"Morning" Guigs smiled

I smiled half-heartedly.

"Gonna spend all day walkin' 'round in your knickers?"

"Depends on how cold it is outside"

He just smiled tossing me my jeans. I pulled them on as Noel came up from the back of the bus.

"Morning, Princess" he smiled "Told y'he would be fine" he motioned to Liam

I glared at Liam who was completely oblivious. "Bite me"

I walked up to where Maggie was sitting with her papers, pulling my hair back as I sat down.

"Rough night?" She smiled handling me the papers.

"Never marry a rockstar" I muttered

She laughed with a nod "I'll keep that in mind"

"Where are we going?" I asked staring out the front windshield.

"San Francisco"

"How long is the drive?"

"Another..." She looked at her watch "Five hours"

I sighed "Joy, five more hours on a bus with a bunch of smelly hungover guys"

"Welcome to the glamorous life of being on tour" she laughed "Just wait until one of them gets sick; you think they're whiney when their hungry?"

Maggie had figured right, five hours later we were climbing off the bus and lugging our stuff inside and getting our keys.

Liam had tried twice to talk to me and I ignored him on both counts. Since, he had vanished; which didn't really surprise me.

I was sitting in our room that we shared with Bonehead, by myself when there was a knock on the door.

“It's open" I muttered flipping through channels.

The door opened and Noel poked his head in. "Can I come in?"

"Sure"

He closed the door behind him and sat next to me on the bed as I flipped

"Where's Our Kid?"

"Don't know" I answered watching the TV.

"He try to apologize?"

"Twice"

"And?"

"I might actually take it seriously if he meant it"

"How do you know he didn't?"

"I'm sorry babe, forgive me so we can 'ave a shag is not an apology"

"It's not?!" He looked at me in pretend shock.

"Noel"

"Sorry," he smiled "Y'wanna come sightseein' with me?"

"Sightseeing?"

He nodded "We could get dinner?"

"Are you asking me out on a date?" I smiled

He shrugged "Suppose so"

"I'm a married woman, Mr Gallagher"

"We'll just keep it between us then"

I smiled with a laugh. "Wouldn't be the first thing" I muttered as I got up.

He handed me my jacket and we left.
