"Are you sure about this?" for the tenth time she asked it again.
"Ten times sure" I smiled at her with assurance.
"Hay... it's look like I can't really change your mind" I step closer and held her both hands, giving my sweet smile.
"Granny, I'm gonna be okay... I promise" and then raised my right hand before hugging her tight.
I'm definitely sure that I will gonna miss her.
"Lady Kyianna, pinapatawag po kayo ni Señorita" psshh, what does she wants again this time?
I gave a simple glance at Granny, mouthing that 'I'm fine', before I nod on the maid and follow her.
Pagpasok ko pa lang sa loob— I saw her sitting comfortably on the couch. Bigla tuloy sumikip yung pagdaloy ng hangin kahit super luwag ng office niya.
"So you're really sure about it?" oh cut the crap! I said in my head.
"Yup" sagot ko, sabay upo sa katapat na couch.
"If I were you my dearest daughter. I'd rather chose the first option rather than the choice you've chosen" I can't help but to roll my eyeballs, here she goes again.
I really hate her manipulative bitchy side.
"Are you for real?... you want me to marry a man that I don't even know in the first place." she's unbelievable.
I'd rather chose to be in the Philippines and live my own life there instead of marrying some wealthy guy, or someone with a royal type of blood— whatever that I don't even love nor know who was— for all damn I care. Besides, it not uso na din ang arranged marriage! We're in the 20th century, tapos na ang era nila binabalikan pa niya.
"It's better than being in the Philippines" I scoffed at her, Philippines is not a bad country at all, but she sound like it was.
"Then if it's better for you, why not ikaw na lang" she keep insisting it din naman.
"What an attitude" tss.
"I'm not here to discuss it over and over again. I will never change my choice plus, I don't want to have a talk with you that will be more than 30 minutes" it'was suffocating me na to talk with her the whole day. Baka mawalan ako ng hininga sharing the same room with her.
"As always... "
"So... you're done?" I want to leave this place na before may masabi pa akong words that she wouldn't wish to heard from my lips.
She just gave me her bitch smile, handling over the brown envelope, I raised my brows on it.
"What is this?" kuha ko sa envelope.
"Do you really think going back to Philippines is that easy as your punishment" as always.
I'm ready for it naman, hindi naman ako nag-expect na yun lang yun. I'm even prepared maging maid or so— whatever she wanted me to be.
As I open the envelope, napakunot talaga ako ng noo because I was confused on the papers I saw inside it— good to say documents and some papers and etc.
"What is the meaning of this?... Khiya Alzalde? Who is she?" sunod sunod kong tanong sa kanya.
Did she wants me to investigate this girl? With no even one picture— just pure info about her, for the hell who she is. Did she have an adopted daughter or bastarda niya ba ito? How am I supposed to identify who the heck is this girl?!
