"Leigh"
Parang gusto ko na lang bumalik ulit sa loob ng tent if I know that it was his face ang bubungad sa akin paglabas ko.
"We need to talk"
Talk? Do we need that ba? Kagat labi na lang akong tumango at sumunod sa kanya, I don't have a choice na din naman since he was here na din, and I don't want to make a scene here.
"If you're just going to nag me here, and if it is about what happened earlier. I don't want to say sorry" simula ko.
I want to clear myself about earlier, I may regretting it but I'm not sorry for it. All I want is just to know what his reaction will be— and his reaction answered it.
"I know you weren't" nag-iwas na lang ako ng tingin.
"Then, what about now? What do you want to talk about?" that's right, Leigh. Act brave, don't be stupid weak like kanina.
"I don't want you to do it again"
"Don't worry, that will never gonna happen again" tama na yung isang beses na para akong tanga na iri-risk yung buhay ko just for his damn attention.
"Good"
"Is that all? Babalik na ako" baka kasi hindi na naman maging maganda yung usapan namin.
"I'm telling you to stop those kind of tricks just for my attention. Stop acting immature, you won't get me by that" napakagat na lang ako sa labi— I know.
"Yeah, your reaction say it all kanina. Don't worry, I will not"
"And about your feelings— " damn, here we go.
"I know. It's Lian, and it's always her. I know. Lagi mo ba namang ipamukha sa akin, tanga ko lang kasi I always ignore it" I try to sound sarcastic para hindi ganun kasakit.
"I'm sorry" biglang nagtaas yung kilay ko sa sinabi niya.
"Sorry for what?" hindi ko na alam kung para saan yung sorry niya for all the pain he cost.
"Sorry about leaving you alone there" napatahimik naman ako bigla.
Talagang wala siyang ibang alam na gawin kundi ibalik yung sakit— my goodness.
"No good explanation will justify what— "
"Yes, you don't need an explanation 'cause you just show me through your actions that I am maybe your damn fiancee but I cannot be Lian, your damn love one. Right? It's crystal clear to me, Drix" and I don't think I will accept any explanation he will tell.
"Yeah... I don't mea— "
"Mean it or not. Nagawa mo na, congrats for that" I need to be brave, hindi ako pwedeng umiyak.
"Leigh— "
"May sasabihin ka pa ba? I need some fresh air alone unless you want to join me, which is malabo to happen" sarcastic ko ulit na sabi.
