Khiya POV

"Close ba kayo? I mean... alam n'ya bang hindi ka si Khiya talaga?"

That question from Cary suddenly pop in my head. She told me na he took care of me, he never leave me alone not until the class was over— and most of all he save me.

Is there really a possibility that he really knows me? That he knows my disguise? Does he really knows that Kyianna and Khiya was the same person?

But it was impossible... he should start keep the distance away from me nor change his seatmate. Why I don't feel the same coldness treatment of him when I was Kyianna. Di'ba?

All of my thoughts vanished in the air, when he surprisingly took a glance on me. I was stunned at that moment to the point that I didn't know what to do, should I leave? He caught me off guard.

He seems confused at my uneasy movement, he even put his ear pads down. I need to do something, magmumukha akong tanga kapag tumakbo na ako palayo.

"H-Hi?" I awkwardly greet him, he just gave me a look. Hindi n'ya ba ako narinig?

So I adjusted myself, I walked towards him and made an enough space for us.

"May I sit?" I pointed the vacant space on the bench, and he just gave a nod, as an answer.

I awkwardly sat beside him— geez! I can't even breathe or move myself freely. It was so uneasy, I'm even afraid that I might make some wrong move.

I bit my lips, play with my nails and made my eyes busy looking the sorrounding. Why does it feels so awkward?

"Why aren't you taking your recess?" he asked out of the blue.

I was shocked that he asked me first!

Why do it feels like I was in my grade school days, who's being shy infront of my crush. Cringe.

"Same question with you" usually naman nagre-recess s'ya kasama nila Khe.

"I want to be alone" the typical him.

"Same answer with you" I suddenly smiled, this feels how we used to had an conversation before.

"I see..."

Natahimik na naman kami. I need to do something, I shouldn't let the silence filled us again. Minsan lang toh, ngayon ko lang s'ya makakausap ng kaming dalwa lang.

"Ch— I mean... Jhaster?" I called him.

"Hmm?" he answered but his eyes are on the book.

"Thank you" I genuinely said with a smile.

"For?"

"For what you did for me" I remembered that I didn't say thank you pa to him.

"You mean, yesterday?"

"Oum! Thank you for saving me that day, I thought katapusan ko na, but thanks to you" I mean it, if wasn't for him baka pinaglalamayan na ako ngayon.

"I just did what is right" so he just did that because naawa siya sa akin, yun ba yun?— stop hurting yourself nga, Kyi. Don't be KJ, just enjoy the moment.

"Still it can't change the fact that you save me, you're my hero" I can't stop myself now from smiling because of him.

"Am I?"

"Yes! You are!" lingon ko sa kanya, tumango tango lang s'ya bago nagtaas ng tingin sa akin.

"You should avoid getting yourself in trouble" my heart fluttered on what he said.
