21. Mom

~A week later~

"Hey Mom."  I yawned out as I came out of my room to the bright Saturday sun.  I followed my mom down the hallway and into her room and spread out on her bed.  "I'm so tired."  I moaned into one of her pillows.

"Danni you always say that even when you just woke up."  My mom just laughed at me as she did some laundry really quickly.  "How are those friends of yours by the way?"  She said as she kept going along with the laundry and tried to keep eye contact with me.  

"Well, as I told you, I'm dating Luke actually.  Don't worry he's super nice and would never even hurt a fly.  Also the other guys are like watchdogs and like my older brothers so they would never let Luke really do anything.  Calum really likes my friend named Bella though, which is so awesome becuase they're like the cutest couple ever.  Mikey is just Mikey, he beat one of his video games yesterday.  Ashton has been learning some new songs on the drums."  I updated my mom as I just stared at the ceiling trying to think if I missed anything.  

She took a seat next to me on the bed and patted my leg so I sat up and faced her.  "I'm glad you're happy Danni.  But I have to meet these guys.  You know how I get, you're my baby girl."  She said and started going all motherly on me, typical.  I told her that I would call the guys and see if I could bring my mom to the upcoming concert and then she could meet them either before or after.  "Alright sweetheart, just don't think I won't embarrass you in front of this Luke boy."  My mom said and started laughing.  Great, this is gonna be fun for me.  

I wandered back to my room after my mom had put a stack of clothes in my arms and I collapsed on my bed and pulled up Ash's number.  He was the one most likely to pick up so I went with him.  I heard it ring a few times before I heard his familiar hello.  "Hey Ash.  My mom's going to be coming to the concert too so make sure you guys are on good behavior.  You have to make a good impression."  I told him and I prayed that he would actually get the other guys to be cool around my mom.  

"Sure Danni.  I'll try to reign them in as much as I can."  Ashton practically yelled into the phone over the noise of one of Mikey's video games.  We said goodbye becuase he said he was going to lecture Mikey on the volume of some of his games or something.  Mikey would get yelled at constantly for that but he never did what he was told, typical Michael Clifford.  I yelled to my mom that she should get ready for the concert because it took her quite a while to get ready.  I wasn't bothered to get ready because I only had to get clothes because the only makeup I wore was mascara and that took like two seconds.

I decided that I would call Bella over so my mom could meet her first.  I texted Bella and thankfully she said that she was going to ask to come over and get ready anyway.  She only lived a short distance away so she would be here pretty quickly.  "Mom!  My friend Bella is coming over!"  I yelled hoping that she would hear me.  She yelled an ok back and I went back to messing around with my phone trying to put together a really good playlist.  

"Danni!  I'm here!"  I heard Bella yell into the living room, I had left the door unlocked for her to come in, don't worry no one could actually break in.  I yelled back to her that I was in my room and for her to just come straight up.  

"Well time for someone to meet my mom."
