25. A Lot of Phone Calls

I got to my house and ran up the stairs and locked myself inside of my room. I slid down my door and just started to sob. I was getting texts from Luke asking if I had gotten home ok and that he loved me, but I just didn't have the guts to answer him.  I knew that I couldn't talk to him right now.  I was broken, being torn apart.  I loved Luke and he was the best relationship I've ever had, but, I couldn't tear him and his band apart.  We had been going strong for three years as friends, and I'm sure we can continue that.  

After a few hours of being home, I was laying in my bed just staring at my ceiling when I felt my phone buzz with a text. Please let it not be one of the boys.

Bella~ Where r u? Luke is worried 

Me~ Home.  Can u come over? No boys

Bella~ Sure.  Be there in 5

What was I even going to do when she got here?  Just cry even more tears?  Well, this is going to be like a typical high school girl movie.  Great.  A few minutes later I heard Bella come in and come running up the stairs.  She knocked on my door and told me to open my door, I hesitated a little bit and then finally let her in.  "Danni, what's wrong?"

"So as you most likely already know, Ashton tried to kiss me at the guys' show.  I pushed him off and it was all just a little bit much for me to handle and I had a panic attack.  Luke took me home and stuff and I just, I realized that I was splitting the guys apart.  Like, before I knew who they were, I didn't have to worry because I just thought that I had my best friend Melody on the other side talking to me.  I never realized it would be the guys even in my dreams.  I'm definitely not the best thing for the guys right now and I am not going to be the one to make my favorite band split up."  I explained to Bella and I could see in her eyes that she felt bad for me, which is exactly what I wanted not to happen.  I didn't want to to feel bad.  She has Calum and I'm not ruining something else.  "Bella, don't worry about it.  You have Calum and you and the guys get along great.  I think it would just be best if I wasn't around the guys anymore.  I wrote this letter to Luke.  If you could deliver it to him that would be awesome."  I said to her as I reached underneath my pillow and grabbed the letter that I had written to Luke.  I didn't explain everything but I put enough in the letter.

"Danni they're all going to be devestated and you know it."  Bella said trying to reason with me.

"It explains it in the letter and Luke can tell the others.  Please trust me on this one Bella.  I know what I'm doing.  I've practically known them for years."  I shoved the letter into her hand and she looked at it before nodding her head.  

"I should get back.  The guys wanted me to report back on how you were doing, but if this letter explains it, I should get it to them.  You know you can call me and I'll be right back here in ten minuted tops."  Bella said to me before she left and I nodded my head knowing that I could count on her.  She left the house without another word and I locked my bedroom door once again.  Now, to figure out how to distance myself from the guys.  I grabbed my laptop and deactivated my Twitter, Instagram, and Tumblr account, what the guys would turn to if I didn't answer their calls or texts.  

My phone started blowing up with calls and texts a few minutes later.  Most of them were from Luke and sounded desperate and most were reffering to the letter that I had written to him.  

Luke~ DANNI PLEASE ANSWER ME

Luke~ WHAT DO YOU MEAN WE CAN'T EVER BE TOGETHER

Luke~ DANNI PLEASE

I decided against texting him back.  If he really understood the letter and read it, he would know that this was the best thing,
