2. My Best Friend

*** OK so I might be updating a little more frequently than I thought because I just have so many ideas for this and I don't want to lose them :) ***

I walked down the stairs into the kitchen while texting my best friend Melody.  We were currently arguing over who was better; Green Day or Blink 182.  Obviously I was saying Green Day, as I was one of the biggest Green Day fans ever, and she was defending Blink.  I'm pretty sure that I was winning the argument though.  After arguing for an hour though, she finally gave up and agreed that Green Day was a pretty amazing band, I totally won.  

I sat down at one of the stools in the kitchen where my mom had left me a plate of breakfast.  She always left for work really early so she usually made me something to eat when she wasn't rushing.  I ate my eggs and toast as Melody and I just kept talking about nothing and everything.  I lived in Sydney and she lived in Perth.  We had tried a few times to meet up, but her mom would never let her for some weird reason.  

Melody :P ~ I know my mom is so overprotective.  I mean, I am 18, she cant always control me.

Me ~ Yeah, ik.  I want to meet you.  Maybe we can when I turn 18 in a few months. 

Melody :P ~ That would be so cool!!!!! Like maybe I could go to your birthday party or something!

Me ~ YOU READ MY MIND!!!!

The conversation went on like that for a while before I had to leave and go to school.  I hopped in my car and drove to NCC, Norwest Christian College, where I went to school.  I was a senior and surprisingly I'm in all of the highest classes.  That's a shock because I'm a fangirl who runs a fan account by night and a normal, smart, school girl by day.  Pretty weird, I know.  And yes, my fan account was dedicated to the amazing, and really hot band, 5sos.  God, I love them so much you have no idea.  And that's also how I met Melody, otherwise known as my best friend in this whole entire world.  

We both have fan accounts on Instagram and that's how we started talking.  I'm a Malum girl and she's a Lashton girl.  She commented on one of my pictures and it turned out we actually both love them more than life.  We just continued to talk and eventually became best friends.  We tell each other everything and it's pretty amazing to have a friend like that, even if we've never met.  

I got to school and hopped out with my bag.  I walked in the front to my locker and grabbed my books and went to my first class, English.  I felt my phone buzz in my pocket as I sat down.  I pulled it out and saw that Melody had texted me again.  

Melody :P ~ LUKE JUST TWEETED OMG AND ITS WITH A KITTEN IM DYING

That's when the notification popped up on my phone and I saw the adorable picture of Luke with a kitten and my feels went through the roof.  I tried to keep from giggling as everyone else started to pile into the classroom.  

Me ~ ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME IN ENGLISH CLASS BECAUSE YOU HAVE SUCCEEDED 

Melody and I just continued to freak out over the picture as my teacher went on some lecture about some book that I hadn't read.  If she were talking about a fanfiction, I would have paid much closer attention, but she didn't, so I won't.  I've actually written a few and Melody said that they were pretty good.  After the bell rung to signal Englsih was over, I walked out to the courtyard because I had a free class.  

Me ~ Hey Mel, call me I'm bored in free class.

Melody :P ~ Sorry, I just got to Maths, I can't.  I can still text though.

So today was actually the day when the 5sos tour tickets went on sale.  I had been saving up for a while so that I could get the sound check and front row tickets.  That's why I'm really happy that I have a free class right as they go on sale.  I got onto the site where they would go on sale and clicked it as soon as it said I could.  

Me ~ MELODY!!!!! I GOT FRONT ROW AND SOUND CHECK OMG MELODYYYY IM FLIPPING OUT AND IM AT SCHOOL IM GONNA DIE OMG

Melody :P ~ OMG WHICH CONCERT????????????

Me ~ SYDNEY THE FIRST ONE OMG

Melody :P ~ OMG THATS THE ONE IM GOING TO!!!! WE CAN FINALLY MEET!!!!

After that I started to jump around and freak out, not even caring that other people were seeing me.  I was going to their concert and I was going to meet Melody.
