Through the Screen

43. Epilogue

 I waved at my screen to the four guys on the other side of the call.  "How's the tour going guys?" I asked as I pulled my hair back into a ponytail and awaited all of their stories that they promised me.  

"Well, it's been AMAZING!" Mikey screamed through the laptop and almost broke my speakers.  "The fans are just so crazy and supportive and do you know how much stuff I've signed?! I think my hand might fall off!" he rambled as a huge smile was plastered onto his face.

Ash, Cal, and Luke all laughed at Mikey's silly behavior and even I couldn't stifle my laughs.  "So how's Bella, Cal?" I asked as I wiggled my eyebrows at him.  His face immediately turned a dark shade of pink and he looked with a murderous glare at Luke.

"Don't worry, they talk plenty," Luke said putting a emphasis on plenty.  

"Cal, I'd never take you as the truly dirty one.  You know except for that one snapchat incident a few years ago," I said as I tried to keep a straight face as Cal's face dropped in horror. 

"I TOLD YOU NOT TO LOOK AT THAT!" Cal screamed as he ran from the laptop, probably as far as he could get from the screen while the rest of us were almost dying from laughter.  

I looked at the screen to the now three guys staring right back at me.  The laughter finally died down and I managed to get out, "I miss you guys."  I could feel my eyes start to well up with tears and quickly rubbed at them to make them dry.  I definitely didn't want the guys to see me cry.  They already missed me, Bella, and Abby enough.  I wasn't going to make them feel even worse.  

"Don't cry on us please," I heard Ash mutter and looked up to see them with sad faces.  "We miss you too.  More than we probably care to admit.  I mean, interviewers are always asking us about you and we have to fight tears every time."

"I won't cry.  I'll save that for later guys," I managed to say as I let a sad laugh escape.  

"Well, at least we still get to see each other every day.  Even if it's not in person," Luke said and I nodded my head.  These guys are my best friends and I'd be completely lost without them.  "And I mean, Airplanes is your song. Just listen to that when you miss us."

"You never told me that!" I yelled at them as I quickly went and pulled up my music, clicking on the song that the boys had released a little while ago.  Listening to the song, I thought back to everything that had happened.  Especially with Luke.  I'd always have a small part of my heart dedicated to him.  These guys have been there with me through everything, and they always will be, no matter the distance.  

"We love you," they said to me.

Typing the last line, I read over the chapter one last time.  Humming along to the song playing, "I'm here alone inside this broken home..."  I clicked the save button and hovered my mouse over publish.  "Here goes nothing."

ALRIGHT, That is the story ladies and gents.  It was a long time coming for the ending but you know, I got there eventually :)  Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to read this story and yeah.  I'm not very good when it comes to endings.  But leave a comment on what your favorite part was or what your least favorite one was and I'll think about changing my style of some things for future books.
