42. Manager

"Alright guys.  We have to start planning another album and tour soon.  We don't want the fans getting restless," the manager, Dave, said.  The guys had a few songs written and all but it wasn't enough to have a full album yet and they had thought about another tour, but the problem was "when".  

Ash suggested, "Well we already have five or six songs.  We can release one of them as a single and then get the album done while the hype about the single is still going on."

"I agree with Ash.  It would keep the fans excited and ready for an album.  Then, after the album is finished, we go on tour," Mikey said.  Dave nodded his head at the guys' ideas and agreed that it would be the best move.

"What song are you thinking for the single then?" Dave asked all of the guys as he leaned back in his chair.

"Maybe 'Hey Everybody!' or 'She's Kinda Hot'?" Luke suggested.  "It shows our new style and how we've grown in our music."

"Alright guys, we have it then.  I'll get you in the studio soon to record the two and then we'll release one of them, maybe even both.  We'll handle the album and tour after.  Thanks, guys," Dave said and shook each of the guys hands as they all stood up.  Dave left the room soon after and left all of us sitting around in the boring meeting room.  

"I want ice cream," I said out of nowhere.  

"Me too," came from Bella and Abby almost at the same time.  

"Well, seems like we're going to get ice cream," Cal said as he stood up before we all did.  We all walked out of the room and into the hallway towards the elevator.  We soon hopped into the elevator and descended to the bottom floor.  "So I vote for She's Kinda Hot." 

"I second that," Mikey said.

"I agree," Ash replied.

"Then it's settled, She's Kinda Hot is going to be our new single," Luke smiled.

"Chocolate chip cookie dough please," I said to the girl around my age behind the counter.  She looked a bit nervous as she seemed to be a fan of the guys as her eyes kept flicking towards them behind me.  "They're the biggest dorks you'll ever meet.  Don't be nervous," I whispered to her so the guys wouldn't be able to hear.  She gave me a smile and handed me my ice cream while I thanked her.

Everyone else got their ice creams without a hitch and the guys even got pictures with the girl behind the counter.  We took seats at a table near the back of the ice cream shop and all ate our ice cream, lost in our own thoughts for a while.  "What's going to happen when you guys go on tour?" Bella asked out of nowhere.

"Um.  I don't know," Cal replied with a slight frown on his lips.  

"The last tour we were gone for about seven months," Ashton spoke up.  "We were usually go to L.A. when we record to."

"Well, we're gonna stay connected wherever you guys go, it'll be fine," I said and the guys nodded saying we would all talk every single day.
