7. Awkward

This just kept getting more and more awkward as I sat there with the four guys who I have loved so much for the past three years.  I could tell Calum was pretty uncomfortable now that  Mikey had let out the secret that I had a fucking crush on him.  Well, I had fangirled over Mikey too.....shit.  "Well, see ya.  Don't talk to me again.  Have a nice life."  I said as I stood up and walked towards the door.  

"Are you seriously going to leave just like that?"  Mikey said as he stood up and caught up with me.  I thought for a moment and just said yup.  I walked out the door and back to my car.  Before I drove off I looked back up at the house and saw the guys with sad faces.  Whatever, it was their fault for lying to me.  I have by birthday to figure out and plan.  I still have to get everything that I need together and send out invitations.  Shit, they knew where I lived because "Melody" had been helping me plan it.  God I'm an idiot.  

I drove back to my house and saw that my mom still wasn't back.  I locked the front door once I was inside and saw that there was a message on the machine.  It was my mom and she explained that she had an emergency business trip and was going to be gone for about two weeks.  Of course she wouldn't be there for my birthday.  My mom was a record producer, yeah I know yada yada I could meet bands and such but I never did.  She was almost always gone and traveling.  I had basically raised myself.  

I ran up the stairs to my room and grabbed my laptop to email some people I had met at my concert and my few friends.  I also emailed some of my online friends that lived in Sydney to see if they could come.  I had made so many online friends since I had made my fan account and joined the 5sos fam.  It truly was like you were gaining sisters and even some brothers.  I immediately got some responses from my online friends saying that they wouldn't miss it for the world and they would definitely be coming.  My real friends took a while longer to respond but eventually they did.  I had invited a lot of people and only a few of them couldn't come.  

The next thing that I had to do was get decorations and then get a band.  I knew a not yet popular band so I called them up and asked them if they could come and play.  They said yes and so then that was done.  Of course they were a punk band, I wouldn't invite a pop band trust me.  I ordered all of the decoration online and they would definitely be here by my party.  

My one worry was that Michael would show up.  I'm not sure if he had told the other boys about my party but I was praying that he hadn't.  

I logged onto my fan account on Instagram.  This was where I had met "Melody" and started talking to her.  I had DM's from the guys but just ignored them.  I posted a edit that I had made and captioned it with "Don't you just hate when you are lied to over and over again?".  I had a quite large account and I was immediately getting comments about what happened and people telling me that I should make a video explaining what happened.  I don't have a YouTube so I made one and started filming a video with my phone.  

I explained how I had a best friend and that I found out that it was actually the guys.  I explained how they had lied to me for almost 2 years and had never once thought about telling me who they were.  I uploaded the video and put the link in my Instagram bio so that everyone could watch it and stop asking me so many questions.  I looked at my followers and it had nearly tripled.  The guys were posting things about me and I hated it.  If I hadn't been lied to, I would have been excited as ever, but no.  I couldn't be.
