19. Date With the Giant

"I have no idea where he's taking me and I'm getting really nervous Bella!  I have no idea what to do!"  I quietly yelled into my phone as I was talking to Bella.  I normally didn't get this nervous for stuff but it just hit me really hard that I'm going on a date with Luke Hemmings,  Like, woah.  Just calm down Danni.  Bella told me to just ask Luke if it was going to be casual or not and told me she would come over and help me.  She said goodbye and then hung up the phone.  I threw my phone on my bed and yelled for Ashton. 

Ashton came running into my room like there was a fire and I told him I just needed his help.  "Oh God what do you need help with?"  He said as he took the spot next to me on my bed.  The guys had come back to my house after we were done at the studio.  I explained to him my anxiety about the date and he kind of laughed at me at the end of my explanation.  "You want me to ask him where he's taking you?"  Ash asked and I nodded at him and sent him on his mission.  "You so owe me though."  He said and walked down to the living room where the rest of the guys were sitting.  I closed my bedroom door and waited for Bella's text to tell me she was here.  

Bella :P ~  I'm here.  

Me ~ Door's open.  Come upstairs

I heard the guys all say hi to Bella as she came in and I heard Cal call to her but she just said she was on a mission.  Dear Lord make it a little more obvious Bella.  She came into my room with a big bag of stuff and set it down on my floor.  "Has Ash gotten the information yet?"  She asked me and I shook my head no.  Where was he?  I grabbed my phone and texted him C or F.  Casual, or formal.  He texted back a few minutes later with a F.  God now I have to look even better.  "Let the master get to work."  Bella said and reached into her bag and pulled out a makeup bag and a pair of not too high heels and a short black dress.  

"Prepared much?"  I said as I laughed at her as she set up the makeup in front of her so she could see everything.  She just replied with a quick yup and she got to work.  I told her I didn't want too much makeup so she just used blush, some pink lipstick, a small amount of eyeliner, and mascara.  She did my hair in a kind of up twisty bun thing with two little ringlets hanging by the sides of my face.  It looked really good I had to admit.  She handed me the dress and pushed me into my bathroom to change.  I locked the door behind me and changed into it as quickly as I could.  

I looked at myself in the mirror and I couldn't help but gasp.  I actually looked really pretty.  When did that happen.  The dress went to just above my knee and had a belt at my waist and then flowed out.  I spun around out of habit in it and it circled around me.  I laughed a little and stepped out of the bathroom and heard Bella gasp.  "I knew it would look perfect on you."  She said as she did a little clap and then handed me my shoes.  Thank God the heel wasn't very high or I would end up dead.  I was known for not being good in heels.  She told me to wait while she went downstairs to see if Luke was ready too.  She came running back up a few minutes later and said, "Tux.  He's definitely a keeper."  I slowly walked down the stairs and I heard a bunch of gasps.  I looked to see all of the guys with their mouths hanging open, even Ashton.  

"Um, hi."  I said awkwardly and I looked at Luke who looked 10x better than me.  He was smiling at me and I blushed and gave him a small smile back.  Of course Ashton had to be the weird one and come between Luke and I and give Luke a speech about he had to have me back by 11 and he had to keep his hands off of me and don't disrespect me.  "Thanks Dad."  I laughed as I gave Ashton a quick hug and glanced at Bella who punched Calum in the arm for staring at me and Calum immediately starting apologizing and kissed Bella.

"Let's go before they decide to have a group picture or something."  Luke whispered to me as he grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers as he led me out to the car.  He opened the door for me and I got in as he ran around to the driver's side.  He got in and immediately grabbed my hand again as he started driving to where our date would take place.  "You look absolutely stunning by the way.  I didn't really have a chance to tell you that back at the house."  Luke said as he glanced at me.

"You don't look so bad yourself Hemmings."  I said back to him and leaned up and gave him a quick peck on the cheek.  His face flushed a bright red and I just giggled at his reaction to my kiss.  We pulled up to a restaurant that I had heard about but never been able to go to.  He came around to my side and helped me out and we walked inside and he told the hostess he had a reservation for Hemmings.  Wow he must have planned this ahead of time.  Sneaky Luke.  The hostess led us to our table and we both sat down and I looked around to see a bunch of older, rich looking people sitting at the tables around ours.  "How the hell did you get a reservation here?"  I asked Luke and he kind of laughed at me before telling me that he was good friends with the owner.

"So I have a question for you."  Luke said to me after we had eaten, well, talked more than ate.  I nodded at him to continue his question and he looked kind of embarrassed.  "Why did you choose me over Calum or Michael?"  I kind of knew this question was going to come up at some point.  But I already knew my answer.

"Well, when I had come over to come hang out with you guys and hang out, I just thought you were so cute and when you had taken me up to your room for me to sleep and you'd given me your Blink sweatshirt to sleep in and you gave really good cuddles and you smell really good.  Should I go on?"  I giggled as I saw his face turn the shade of a firetruck.  

"Nope, that was the most perfect answer ever."  He said and our waiter brought the check and Luke paid for us and we stood up to leave.  "Oh, and before we get back and I can't do this."  Luke leaned down and kissed me softly and then pulled back and was smiling like an idiot.  I just grabbed his hand and pulled him out of the restaurant and we both got back into the car to go back home.  

The drive was very quick and we ended up at my house again within 5 minutes.  We went inside and everyone jumped up from their seats and came sprinting towards us asking us questions and Luke shielded me and told everyone to shut up and we would answer their questions after we had gotten changed into more comfortable clothes.  I kissed Luke again which earned some "ewwwww" noises from the guys and Bella followed me up to my room to help me take out all the bobby pins from my hair.  "So, was it as perfect as you thought it would be?"  Bella asked and I told her everything about the date and how it was the best date I'd ever gone on.  

I changed my clothes into a sweatshirt and some leggings and took off the makeup from my face and walked back downstairs with Bella to see the guys all in the living room watching cartoons.  Luke held his arms out to me and I sat on his lap and cuddled into him and grabbed a nearby blanket to pull over us.  "You guys are so PG 13."  Bella said and we all started laughing since we are all older than 13.  

"No kissing while I'm around ok.  It's gross.  Like seeing my sister kiss someone."  Ashton said and directed it towards me and Luke and told Bella and Calum it was fine if they did it.  Just to make him angry I leaned up and kissed Luke and kept the kiss going for a few seconds until I heard Ashton doing a fake cough like he was about to die.  

"God he's so protective."  Luke said to me and I just nodded and fell asleep.

IM SO SORRY I SUCK AT UPDATING I TOTALLY LOST TRACK OF TIME BECAUSE OF SCHOOL AND STUFF AND IT SUCKS BUT YEAH I PROMISED A LONG CHAPTER AND HERE IT IS :D     HOPE YOU LIKED IT AND VOTE AND COMMENT AND STUFF
