35. Sneaky Kiss

I seriously suck so much at updating I am so sorry.  Also you all are gonna be so mad at me for this but idek 

Dangerous.  That is definitely how I would describe the look that I was getting from Luke right now.  Mikey had held onto my hand until we got in the car and I had been put in between Luke and Mikey.  Out of the corner of my eye I could see Mikey slowly drifting asleep and I felt Luke's heavy gaze on my head like lazer beams were shooting from his eyes.  "Luke can you please not kill me with those lazers?  It would be greatly appreciated," I said in a hushed whisper so I wouldn't wake Mikey up.

"When are you going to give me a chance to be your friend?  You avoided me at all costs and it hurts Dani.  I know that I was a sucky boyfriend but I told you the truth, that girl attacked me with her lips when I tried to show her my guitar that she wanted to see.  Trust me, it was disgusting,"  Luke said and his warm breath fanned over my ear.  I got chills up and down my spine.  I could tell he was being sincere which made my heart ache for him.  I did have serious feelings for Luke but they had crumbled.  He reached his hand over to mine and intertwined our fingers.  It felt so natural that I couldn't pull away.  He gave my hand a slight squeeze and I felt my cheeks turn red.  "I hear that the third times the charm.  I love you Dani and I'm willing to fight for you," Luke whispered in my ear and my eyes flicked over to Mikey as he moved a bit in his sleep.  What did Luke just say?  Did he seriously use the "L" word on me?  Well, shit.

We pulled up to Abby's house and I told Luke that we could talk inside.  What?  Can't blame a girl for wanting to know why the hell he would use the "L" word out of nowhere.  I woke Mikey by poking his cheek and then climbed out of the car.  I went straight up the stairs and into Abby's room where she had her makeup wipes.  My eye has been itchy all night and I could not scratch it once.  I finally was able to succesfully remove all of the makeup and changed quickly into a pair of Abby's sweatpants and a black t-shirt before going back downstairs where Luke was waiting with everyone else.  "Luke and I are going to go talk guys," I said to everyone as I grabbed Luke's hand and pulled him down into the basement and onto a big couch that Abby had.  

I sat down with my legs crossed and waited for Luke to speak.  "I do love you Dani.  I think I have ever since Mikey started talking to you as Melody.  I mean, your personality drew me in and it was just a bonus that you loved my band.  I truly do love you," Luke explained as he looked into my eyes and held my hands in his.  

"I don't even know what to say Luke.  I mean, you tore my heart apart twice and I- I just- I---" I choked out and tears piled in my eyes as I remembered all of the things that had happened.  I felt a tear slip down my cheek and Luke swiped it away with his thumb and looked at me with a hurt expression on his face.  

"Please don't cry beautiful.  All of those things are in the past.  I've been a mess without you.  Ask any of the guys.  You could also ask my mum.  I've cried to her quite a few times," Luke said trying to get me to smile which kind of worked as a tiny smile popped up onto my face.  "I know you must hate me for what happened, and I totally understand that, but I can't live without you Dani."  

"I do admit Luke, I have missed you.  It's just, you kissing that girl, at our get back together party no less.  It hurt a hell of a lot more than you think.  I can't forgive you in the blink of an eye.  But God, I wish I could,"  I said and more tears started streaming down my face.  Luke pulled me into his arms and I cried into his shoulder letting out all of the sadness that I had kept inside.  He rubbed my back and held onto me and let me cry.  After a few minutes I had cried as much as I could and pulled away slightly to wipe my eyes on my shirt and looked back up into Luke's eyes.  I smiled at him and he gave me a small smile back.  

My eyes widened slightly when I saw Luke leaning in towards me with his eyes flicking from my eyes to my lips.  He connected his lips with mine and started off slowly and I surprised myself when I started kissing him back.  Luke pulled me into his lap and I straddled him as my hands wound into his hair and his found their way around my waist.  The kiss started off slow but soon got heated and I pulled back and rested my forehead on Luke's.  "Best kiss ever.  I'm glad it was with you," Luke said and pecked my lips once more.  

"This totally doesn't mean I've forgiven you.  My hormomes are just on overdrive right now," I laughed as I got off of Luke's lap and helped him off of the couch.  "We should probably go back up.  The others will think that we got killed by the boogeyman or something."  I started my way up the stairs but I was pulled back by my waist and met Luke's lips in a quick but hot kiss.  

"Just another reason to fight for you," Luke hummed as he pulled away.  He grabbed my hand and we both went back upstairs.  Right before we went into the living room I disconnected my hand from his and went and laid on the floor on a blanket that had been put down.  

"Dani! That is ours!" Abby yelled at me and gestured to her and Ashton.  I told her that they had a perfectly good bed upstairs and they both shut up and immediately ran upstairs.  God I hope we don't have any baby Ashton's soon.  I sprawled out on the blanket and closed my eyes but not before I felt a pillow being put under my head and I looked up to see Luke.

"Cuddle?"  Luke asked and held his arms out.  I nodded and Luke laid down next to me and my back was pressed against his chest with his arms around me.  

God I love cuddling.

WELL I feel like some people are going to love me for this and then others are going to be like "WHAT" but anyway, yeah.
