Once within lived a broken heart,
Occasionally skipping and beating in parts,
In shadows of joy and treasures of tears,
Wailing, dreaming of far aways once near.Then it mended itself when hope swayed,
The lights went black and my laughter failed,
Her eyes went dumb and silence conveyed,
It closed its pain and laughed in vain.Then walked into its yard a lonely cat,
That purred alone on an old ravaged mat,
Stitching the beats arhythmic, long,
Into a melancholy of Beethoven's song.Heart, anew it set for love,
Into her oceans, it leapt again,
Golden waves crushing, receding,
Steadying its steps in sands of rains.She was adrift and it went far,
Into the depths searching the storms,
Breathless, wet-eyed it peered the shores,
There she stood on a rocky knoll.It whispered to the seas to take it ashore,
Surrendered, effortless, floating before,
A heart renewed as closer she waved,
It walked towards yet further apart.The heart is but the November rain,
That fills this ocean-like nothing meant,
I clamor, crave, and in stillness wait,
Someday this heart shall meet his mate.Someday...
