High up in the sky,
It hung up away and far,
Hiding behind passing clouds,
It laughed at ordinary stars.
Walking by the seashore,
I saw her watching the moon,
Breath held tight she gazed at its beauty,
Smiling alone, she defined true beauty.
I walked beside her,
Eyes transfixed on the moon,
She smiled, held my hand,
And like a little waterfall,
She let go of her breath to fall.
The moon disappeared.
It went all dark.
She lay fallen beside me,
And I searched my entire sky.
With our hands held tight,
She breathed out her final wish,
With it,
She blew my candle in the sky.
