Lights in the Night Sky,
fairies holding little lanterns of dreams,
like sparkling goldfish in clear streams;
quiet aurora, sonorous & shy.I leave behind my Clinomania,
lay Supine below ethereal sky;
Ah! the petrichor of raining stars.
Am I dreaming in euphoria?Then I see her, a blue silhouette,
quietly peeking, behind a star,
quietly seeking, from world afar,
my sorrow, hiding, embarrassed.Come back to me, my little heart,
my joys' alone without your songs,
the lullabies play broken low chords,
without you, my insomniac sleep departs.She walks out, a little girl shy,
with a wailing tear leaving her eye,
whispers - "But, you chose the joy!"
Opens her wings, flies into the night sky.Unable to chase, in oblivion, I stare,
my limerence, my hopeless cry,
my sorrow left me for the infinite sky.
I lay with my joy, breathing thin air.Ahh!, a little light leaves my heart,
"You broke her soul, your love was fake,
Without her, my heart too breaks,
I leave you now, you shattered my heart."My joy too left me, without a sigh.
two stars now stare at me,
my sorrow & my joy, mock at me,
as lights in the night sky.
