The everydays of life come and go,
Tomorrows turn to yesterdays and bow,
As I measure the sands of times,
I wonder if I held too tight...
That she chose to open her heart elsewhere;
I think, our love was separated by a simple beat.
Mine beat only for her as in love I fell,
She rose and hers beats me for me as well.
Open those eyes, please release me,
Your eyes have locked my heart within.
As I wander around in thirst for you...
I wonder...is your silence your reply too!
