The moment I take the last step down the stairs off the train and my feet hit the concrete of the platform at Kings Cross station, my troubled thoughts about the dream of the dead cease from my mind. Across the platform, two very familiar figures with the same flaming red hair as the rest of the Weasley's are waiting for us to finally arrive.

"Good to see that you are all coming back in one piece" Molly Weasley exclaims with a broad smile as we approach her, "Oh, Ginny dear!"

To no great surprise, Ginny is the first one to be pulled into a tight hug by her mother that lasts until she seems almost bored with the warm welcoming.

"And Hermione and Harry of course! All six of you, well and alive" she says and embraces the two of them as well.

This is the first moment in a while that makes me remember just how crazy it is that I'm really here. Most things in this reality have come to feel quite normal, or at least not as overwhelming as they had when I first came here, but meeting Arthur and Molly Weasley for the first time is not only exciting because I finally get to meet the two of them. I'm struck by a sudden nervousness the moment I realise that they also happen to be my boyfriend's parents, which in itself is quite terrifying no matter how nice they are.

"Actually, we're seven this time mum" Fred says and literally pushes me forward from where I've been trying to hide behind him.

"Of course, Nova! It's so wonderful to finally meet you!" she exclaims and pulls me into one of her comforting, warm hugs, "I have heard so much about you, this one here hasn't been-"

"Okay, that's enough for right now" Fred cuts her off and I look over at him with a slight smile, awfully curious to know what innocent little secrets might have come up if he hadn't interrupted her.

"And I believe that I have you to thank for saving my life, by sending message to the order a few nights ago" Arthur says with a kind smile and reaches out his hand, "I don't know how you did it, but I am too thankful to ask"

"Oh, uhm, it was nothing" I say and nervously shake his hand.

Seeing him alive and unharmed is a huge relief, even though I already knew that he was alright. He doesn't seem to look for answers to questions that should be asked like everyone else, which in itself already makes him one of my favourite people.

"Are we all ready to go then?" Molly asks and everyone nods and hums in agreement as we start making our way across the platform to get back to the burrow.

"So, how are we getting home?" I say quietly as I walk next to Fred with our fingers intertwined, hoping that he will be the only one to hear me.

It hadn't crossed my mind until now that I have no experience with any of the magical ways of traveling, and I certainly don't have the slightest clue how to apparate. If things had been exactly like the written story it wouldn't have been a problem, since Arthur would be at St Mungo's hospital and the Weasley's would be spending Christmas and Grimmauld Place. Now that he got away from the attack before he was injured, this Christmas is going to be just as ordinary as any other to everyone but me.

"We will be travelling by the Floo Network, we'll be home in no time" Arthur says without questioning my uncertainty, which compensates for the embarrassment that I had hoped would be kept between me and Fred.
