Song: Angel Eyes by ABBA }

After a few short hours of sleep, I wake up in my own dorm and my head is pounding now that the hangover has fully kicked in.

"So you ended up having fun last night?" Pansy says when I get out of bed.

"Yeah, I heard you did too" I answer her and raise an eyebrow at her. Her face turns slightly pink and her eyes flicker around nervously before she gets her tongue untied to say something.

"Yeah, I meant to talk to you about that, Draco and I..."

"It's really fine Pansy, Draco and I broke up" I interrupt and she looks quite relieved, "And it's not like I'm still hung up on him anyway"

I get up and start getting dressed. Every day that I manage to make my tie look decent, I consider a small victory as I think back to the day I had woken up, clueless about how to tie it and about everything else for that matter. It's crazy how everything has become so... normal.

"So who's this new secret lover of yours?" Pansy asks curiously and my blessing of her and Draco seems to have washed away any and all embarrassment from her mind.

"If I tell you he's not secret anymore, is he?" I say and smirk teasingly.

"Just tell me already" she says impatiently, "It was a Gryffindor, wasn't it?"

"And that is exactly why I'm not telling you, you're going to disapprove no matter who it is only because he's not a Slytherin"

"Yeah, because I can't see why you would wanna go for any other house" she says.

I shake my head and sigh as I decide to stick with my decision not to tell her about Fred, at least not yet. Once we're dressed, we grab all the books and supplies we will need for the day and leave for breakfast.

"Nova! You have to tell me everything!" Hermione says excitedly as soon as we arrive at the Great Hall.

"Don't bother, she won't say anything" Pansy says and glares at me.

"Actually she kind of already knows" I say awkwardly.

"She knows and you won't tell me? That's so unfair!" she exclaims and looks offended beyond belief.

"Because you're going to disapprove of who it is regardless" I repeat myself and she rolls her eyes again. She does that a lot.

"Fine" she snaps, "Can we go now?"

"Uhm, I was going to sit with Hermione" I say and Pansy looks a little surprised while Hermione gets a weirdly victorious look on her face, likely amused by anything that would annoy Pansy.

"Very well, I'll come with you then" Pansy says with a forced smile. Hermione looks both bothered and confused.

"You hate me Pansy" she says shortly.

"Don't flatter yourself, I don't care enough to hate you. I don't like you, that doesn't mean I can't be civilised. Especially if you're going to steal my friend" she says, emphasising the word steal and letting the sarcasm linger on every word she speaks, but it's still better than nothing.

"So, did you guys do anything?" Hermione asks quietly once we sit down. She's searching my face for information, and my excessive blushing gives everything away.

"Not just anything, everything" I say and Hermione gasps with a squeal of excitement.

"Oh for Merlin's sake, who is it?" Pansy asks again.
