"Well, no world disaster this summer. Who wants Chick-fil-a?" Tony made his way towards the doorway, "Point break want anything? Waffle fries, chicken?"

"I highly doubt your Earth's small portions of chicken can meet my appetite."

Captain America blocked his way through the doorway, "You have people threatening to steal Stark technology and you think this is a good time to go get fast food."

"Not that you would know old man, but nowadays we have security systems."

Sam rushed into the meeting room, "Oh so you are all having meetings without me now? Where was my invite?"

"I believe that was Bucky's job." Natasha quipped towards the soldiers direction.

"I thought you were a spy, isn't being discreet and keeping secrets in your resume?"

Sam sat down frustratingly, "So is anything going on in the world? Only alien here is Thor right?"

Thor sighed "Yes my step brother Loki is safe locked away in Asgards securest jail. You can rest assure that-"

Sam interrupted once again "Yeah yeah yeah so why do we still have these meetings then Stark?"

Tony placed an order with Jarvis and nervously paced around the table, "Maybe I just wanna hang out with my best friends? Movie night anyone? Steve it's this thing with motion pictures, they figured out color now by the way."

"Cut the crap Stark" Cap said sternly

"Language." his hands fumbled around a bit "I don't know. I can just, feel something coming."

Thors tried reassuring him, "It could be paranoia caused from your previous battles Tin Man."

"Hey don't start calling me-"

"No Tin Man is right" Natasha Romanoff stood up at the head of the table, "I feel it too."

They all sat in silence except for Black Widow and Iron Man who just stared at each other curiously. The group shared awkward glances trying to decipher the untold conversation the two heroes were sharing.

They both looked at each other almost shocked, slightly comforted by how they weren't alone but scared they were right.

"Hey Tony!" Pepper Potts, his wife, walked in panicked, "Oh sorry I didn't know you were having your weekly...thing. An alarm went off on one of your monitors."

The AI Jarvis spoke up, "Sorry sir, you said you didn't wish to be disturbed during you meetings."

"That's alright Jarvis, which monitor?"

"Picking up radiation growing by the minute in a deserted desert in Texas."

"All right gang hate to say I told you so but suit up. Fred grad your traps." he pointed to Cap, "Velma get your glasses," pointed to Romanoff, "Scooby go get your collar." pointed to Bucky.

They all seemed reluctant to suit up, not because of the weird command in relation to Scooby Doo, but because they were all at peace with the world around them. It had been months since the last incident, most of their lives had gone back to normal. Rogers was finally in touch with the world around him and felt like he could see himself living in this era.

Natasha suited up from her previous black sweatpants and tank top to her slimming black jumpsuit. She didn't really miss it. She had been training all this time, taking on small missions mainly for Shield. Nat had nightmares, nothing distinguishable, of just fighting and heartbreak.

Both Natasha and Tony could feel something was coming, not necessarily evil, not a monster, just something. On the jet flying quickly towards the radiation point they notified Banner who has been giving anger management classes unsuccessfully.
