the party was soon but we were going to be picking up alcohol first, we can't come empty handed. bert had grabbed some m&m's and i had walked over to wear aisha and demetri were. "all right, be sure to stock up good." aisha told us. "VIP only' my ass." aisha said to herself. "i still don't understand how we're going to buy alcohol." demetri said. "oh please, never underestimate the power, of the hawk." hawk said as he walked behind me and opened up the fridge with beer.

hawk had grabbed the beer and placed it on the counter, i stood back with aisha, demetri, and bert though. i had to act natural but the others, weren't doing too good of a job. "sup?" hawk said to the cashier. "oh, did you catch the game last night. see puig with the walk off?" i heard the boy say. "no, man. btu i heard he flipped the bat to the moon." the cashier responded. "yeah, i was at the bar last night with my buddies from work." hawk told the guy. "whole place went wild." he said. "i wanted to go, but my girlfriend dragged me to some lame-ass play." the cashier told hawk. "bitches will be bitches." hawk said, i rolled my eyes but just went on my phone as i pretanded to look around. "yeah." the man behind the counter responded. "so how much it gonna cost?" hawk asked. "gotta check your ID first." the man said. "i'm flattered." hawk responded but the cashier just stared at him with a blank expression, it was kind of funny but i held in my laugh.

"do you really think i'm underage?" hawk asked. "that's my fricken kid right there." the boy said as he pointed back at bert who looked up from the magazine he was "reading." the cashier looked at bert before looking back to hawk, "yeah, i still need to see it." the man said. "it's required by law." i could see hawk nod, "oh yeah, for sure. just upholding the law." hawk said as he reached into his pocket. "it's all good." the man responded as hawk handed him the fake ID. the man looked at it for a second before throwing it back to hawk. "whatever." the man responded and bent down, hawk turned back around and put up the rock symbol before turning back around. "uh, how about eight bottles of that vodka right there?" hawk asked. "yeah." the man responded and bent back down to get the drinks.

after hawk got all the drinks he walked out and the four of the rest of us all followed a few minutes later. "you're kid, seriously?" i told hawk as i gestured over at bert who was talking with demetri and aisha. "what, he's small." hawk said and shrugged, i just shook my head and laughed.
