after class i got dressed back into my clothes and out of my robe in the bathroom before i headed over to the convenience store. i walked down the sidewalk, the heat was killing me. as i walked inside tory opened the door and shoulder checked me as she walked by, i turned around to face her and she just shrugged before walking off. "bitch." i quietly said to myself as i walked into the store, slamming the door open.
i walked to the back and grabbed a water bottle before i walked back to the cashier. after i paid i headed back home, karate was so tiring.
"my back thrust kick works like this." sensei lawrence told us. "you step, pivot- throw a sidekick." he said as he showed us. "what if our opponent attacks you from behind?" hawk asked. "excellent question." sensei said and nodded. "sensei kreese, wanna take this one?" sensei lawrence asked the man who stood in the back against the wall. "certainly, sensei lawrence." kreese responded. "the key to this move is making the enemy think your retreating." kreese said as he walked in front of us. "but just as they let their guard down, that's when you strike the hardest." he told everyone before he kicked out.
