"come on Maddie you have to come out of your room, look i'm sorry but he has a gun Maddie! i had to keep you safe" Topper says leaning on her door frame trying to open the door. "its locked" she yells laying on her bed in tears. The front door opens and Kie walks into the house and looks at the three boys standing by her door.

"let me talk to her" Kie says walking to the door "hey Maddie its me can i come in?" Madelyn recognises the voice and unlocked the door letting her in and locks it again before anyone else can get in. "hey" she sighs, Kie walks up to her giving her a hug wiping her tears away.

"hey its ok, we are all fine no one got hurt" she says trying to calm her down. "i know but. wanted to be their for him, he pulled a gun out and yes i do want to be their for my brother too but he was the one who tried to kill John. i- i just don't know what to do" she hugs Kie again with her tears falling on her shirt.

Soon after they sit on the bed and eat some of Madelyns favourite food from the restaurant "omg this is so good thank you" she says stuffing face. "i had a feeling you haven't eaten so i thought you would be hungry" she smiles at the girl. "so what's the deal with you and Rafe?" Madelyn looks at her confused "what deal?"

"he seems to kind of you know like you" Madelyns eyes widen at the thought he would never like her they have just been friends how could he? "nah i doubt it we are just friends.. i think"

The group was at the chateau all hanging around on the deck when Madelyn walks to them and hears John b say "looks i'm calling it off Peterkin said, if i stay out of the marsh, she'll help me with DCS" when Madelyn heard the words DCS she immediately walked to them "what DCS is onto you? why didn't anyone tell me?" the group looks at her and she looks sad at John b "you know you can just stay at mine to get them off your back"

He gives her a look and replies with "i don't think your brother would like that" she thinks about what he said remembering what happened and sighs "i'm sorry John" she gives him a big hug. Jj watches as she holds him tight wishing it was him, he then interrupts them from hugging with a sarcastic voice  "and you believed her? an actual cop, John b you believed a cop?"

"Jj calm down" Kie says but John b lets go of Madelyn and looks at him standing on the grass "all i have to do is stay out of the marsh and shell help me out, and it doesn't help that your ass was the one shooting a gun in the air"

Madelyn walks next to Kie with a worried face and looks over to Jj "you know what i should have done? just let Topper drown your ass" Jj says getting up walking over to John b "Jj!" Madelyn says mad "no no like Topper could drown me, tell me some more come on then" John says staring at JJ "they always win, don't they, kooks versus pogues. they always win!" Jj hits a ball hanging from the roof and Madelyn looks over watching him.

"ok ok look its ok" Kie says to Jj trying to calm him down "no its not okay, they don't want us to go to the marsh that means there is something valuable" he points to John b and looks over to Pope "i understand why you don't wanna go, you're the golden boy. You got way to much to risk" he looks over at the two girls "and you guys are already rich as fuck anyway" Kie rolls her eyes and Madelyn looks down to her feet and walks into the house trying to avoid Jj.

Kie follows her in to see her sitting on the fold out bed. "hey you ok?" she asks her "no, he knows that i hate how my family is rich and that i'm a pouge with a brother that tried to kill John b and-" before she could finish Kie hugged her saying "your not a kook your a pouge" what she said brought a smile on the girls face and they stayed inside eating and laughing while the boys were fighting outside.

Pope came in to where the girls are and sat down next to them. "so John b is stealing scuba gear from the Cameron's" The girls roll their eyes and look at him "let me guess Jj?" Madelyn said to him and he replies nodding. "ok well ill be right back" Madelyn walks out to Jj and sees John b leaving on the boat.

"really Jj?" she walks over to him "what princess?" even though the name gave her butterflies she remained calm walking over to talk to Jj "Jj you cant make him steal from the richest family on the island!! are you insane?" she try's to stay calm worried about her friend getting caught but before Jj could talk she added "i could have just got the stuff you know" "yeah i know but... he wont get caught ok?" he presses a kiss to her forehead and walks inside.
