The group is out in the boat looking at Kie and Madelyn seeing if the tanks have any air in them. "this is empty" Kie says looking at the tank "you took empty tanks?" Madelyn questioned John B.

"wait this one is a quarter full" Kie interrupts rolling her eyes "its enough for only one of us" everyone looks at each other "love it when a plan comes together" Pope exaggerates "does anyone know how to dive?" Kie asks curiously "i do" Madelyn jumps up and all eyes are on her. "no Maddie" Jj steps beside her putting his hands on her shoulders and sits her back down.

"why not? i am the only one that knows how to" she says looking at Jj. Pope interrupts him before he an speak "i read about it. if you come up to fast, nitrogen gets into your blood, and you get bends" "bends like?" Jj says bending down trying to touch his toes making Madelyn laugh a little "the bends kill you" the group goes silent and Jj looks at Madelyn "your definitely not going" "why i know all that stuff i can do this" she says taking her shirt off reviling her bikini having the three boys staring at her.

She grabs the scuba gear and starts to put it on. John B gets up and takes it off her "no i will go" "no you don't know how to John" Madelyn says taking it back "listen guys i know your worried but i can do this i have done it before trust me" Kie stands up and hugs her tightly.

"be careful ok?" the girls smile and Jj has a worried but angry look on his face. Madelyn notices the boy and walks to him pressing a kiss to his cheek "ill be ok Jj trust me"

"let me do the calculations really quick. Ok so that boats about 30 feet down. so, it will take 25 minutes at that depth. Which means you need to make your safety stop at about 10 feet for 2 minutes" Pope tells the girl.

She nods and goes to the edge of the boat. Kie dives in and the group looks down to see where she is "whats that all about?" Jj asks soon after she comes back up and says "i tied my t-shirt to the chain about 10 feet down" Madelyn smiles and jumps into the water.

"hey remember to breath as little as possible" Pope yells, she puts her thumbs up and goes down. Jj watches her and the group notices his worried look. "hey it will be ok" Kie said getting out of the water. "lets hope so" he replied watching the water.

while they look down at the water they start to hear sirens coming from the distance and turn around as fast as they could except Jj. "shit Jj" he turns around and says "shit guys police""oh you have got to be kidding me" Kie and John B said sitting next to each other.

"evening officers" Pope says grabbing the rope from their boat "evening" the deputy answers him. "how are you kids doing? you know the marsh is closed right?" the deputy adds.

"no" the group says one by one "why is it closed?" Pope asks "we're conducting a search out here. Bout went down. seen anything?" the deputy questions. "no" Jj says leaning on the police boat "no boats" Pope says while Kie and John B lean back on the edge of the boat facing the officers.

"wheres that girl that's your always hanging with? Madelyn right, Toppers sister?" Jj froze to the officers words hoping shes ok "shes working" Kie says looking at the officer "yeah my dad asked her to help him out with something" Pope adds hoping he will believe it.

"i'm gonna check your little boat out" The deputy says getting on the boat "sure sure" the group say. They all move to the end of the boat where Madelyn dived in and watch the officer and try to do signals to make sure she doesn't come up yet.

"ugh got another one of these?" he holds up a life jacket "yeah of course. its in the hold" Jj tells him getting it out. He walks over to where Madelyn was and looked into the water. The group looked at each other and Kie rubs Jj back making sure hes ok "be careful" John b says to the deputy looking down into the water.
