Madelyn sat at the end of the dock of the restaurant looking out as the sunset with her feet in the water.

"ok so it's to risky so our best bet is too go down and get the rest and hide it somewhere" Pope said and Madelyn turned around to the group.

"hide it where?" Kie said sarcastically and Madelyn stays quiet with a sassy look, "i have a vault we can use it's our family's but no one uses it" Madelyn said and Pope nodded to her.

"just until we find someone who won't rip us off" Pope said sitting in the wood of the dock, "i can figure it out tonight and we can be out there as early as tomorrow morning"

"i'll help you Pope i need a place to stay anyway no way i'm going back" Madelyn said and he smiled towards her.

"what about that thing with my dad John b?" Sarah asks and the other give a confused look, "what thing?" Kie asked looking at John b.

"i have yo go fishing with Ward" Pope holds his head in his hands and Kie rolls her eyes, "you can't go get 400 mil because your gonna go kill a fish?" Kie said sarcastically and Madelyn doesn't respond to what's going on.

"look guys i have to go alright he saved me and if it weren't for him i would be in foster care" John b said and Madelyn nodded.

"let's just go at night it will be quiet and faster" Madelyn said and they all nod sitting back on their chairs.

"and at least Jj will have washed up by then" Kie added and Madelyn have a soft smile nodding towards her.

the rest of the day Pope, Kie and Madelyn were hanging out at Hayward's figuring out what they need and planning when it will happen.

"hey don't you think we should be looking for Jj?" Madelyn said leaning back on the door frame.

"he will come around ok don't worry" Kie said and she gave her a soft smile as Pope was stressing out on figuring out the plan.

the night came and the three went to the chateau, "ok we need to be dont before my scholarship interview" Pope said as they got out of the car.

"we will have Jj and John b inside the well while the rest of us are up top right?" Madelyn said confirming the plan.

they both bid and lights turn on scaring them all, it was beautiful twinkle lights around all the trees like something from a movie and the group followed a strange sound.

"who the hell is that?" Kie said and they approached the back of the house to find Jj in. hot tub.

"what did you do Jj" Pope said anxiously to the shirtless boy in the hot tub with champagne in his hand.

"y'all should get in immediately " ahh said and the three look at him worried, "Jj how much did this cost?" Madelyn said softy approaching the boy from outside the tub.

"well, with the generator, the petrol and oh hey express delivery pretty much all of it" the group stood in shock and Madelyn placed her hand over her mouth.

"you spent it all in one day" Pope said surprised, "i mean guys come on look at this!" Jj said turning on the power jets.

Kie shook her head and Jj noticed, "what Kie can't a man have a little luxury in life?" Ahh said and Madelyn started tearing up.

she hated seeing Jj like this, hurt and broken he wasn't himself, "come on guys you only live once"

They all looked at each other and back at Jj, "are you kidding me you could have payed for restitution" Pope yelled and Madelyn turned to look at him with a nod and slowly walked to the steps of the tub.

Jj stood up and her heart stopped he had bruises and cuts everywhere and she started crying looking up at his face, "Jj"

Madelyn said getting into the hot tub and hugging him closely, "i just couldn't do it" Jj said crying into her shoulder.

"i can't take him anymore" Madelyn held him tighter and he wrapped his arms around her as they both cried.

Madelyn hated hate Jj has to go through every time he goes back to his house it breaks her heart, "i was gonna kill him" Jj said and Madelyn rubbed his back trying to calm him down.

Pope and Kie soon came up and gave Jj a big hug with her, "i just wanna do the right thing" he said sobbing into her neck.

"i know Jj i know" Madelyn said softly to the boy.

the next day Kie and Pope went to get all the things for later that night and left Jj and Madelyn at the chateau.

she decided to stay at John b's with Jj and they stayed up talking all night.

they were out in the hammocks sitting opposite each other and he was drawing little circles on her leg.

"i heard about what happened with your mother and Ben... i am sorry" Madelyn looked over towards him and gave a soft smile.

"it's ok i'm not going back there and Ben has changed he isn't his old self" ahh looked at her heartbroken knowing what happened to her at the school.

"and sorry about what i said at the station your not like them your a pogue your one of us" Madelyn nearly cried at what he said and decided to turn over and lay on his chest.

"Jj can i tell you something?..." the girl said softly as he played with her hair, "of course princess".

Madelyn looks at his face resting her head in his chest playing with his hair softly, "i need to confess... Jj i have not stopped thinking about you with out getting butterflies or blushing and it almost killed me seeing how hurt you were last night, i wish i was there to help you then you might not have all the scares and bruises... i like you Jj"

Madelyn confessed leaving Jj in shock, soon he smirked and kissed her head, "princess i have liked you ever since i saw you going all the way back to when we were little i could never keep my eyes off you and when you kept getting hurt this summer i wished i could do more to protect you... you mean the world to me Maddie"

Madelyn started blushing and Jj was leaning in and started kissing her passionately and she did the same, "i won't let anyone hurt you ever again" Jj said and she gave him a smile resting her head on his.

"thank you Jj" Madelyn said giving him one last kiss before falling asleep on his chest.
