"ok he said it looked something like this" Kie said pointing to the drawing. her, Madelyn and Sarah were all in the van looking at it trying to figure out how far down they think it is.

"that's 50 feet down and they are using a rope" Kie pointed out to the girls, "so i guess this tiny wagon will go straight to the gold" Madelyn said looking at a weird shaped object and the girls laughed, "who drew this!" Sarah exclaims.

"who do you think?" Kie said and the girls all looked at Pope and John b outside the van working on something but Madelyn didn't know what.

"hey Maddie how's Ben?" Sarah asked and her face feel turning towards them, "he is ok but i feel like i don't know maybe he's not ok with me hanging out with Jj" the two girls hold her hand and she sighs.

"hey if he knows you then he should know Jj is just your friend" Kie said and Sarah gave a soft smile towards Madelyn, "or do you think of Jj being more than friends?" Sarah softy said and the girls looked at her.

Madelyn didn't know what to say she liked Benjamin she is dating him but there is just something about Jj Maybank that she can't stop thinking about, Madelyn sighs and opens her mouth but before she can speak Jj come to the van door and gives Madelyn a smirk.

"Kie this better work but we can't pawn this with a symbol on it" Jj complained throwing the three gold bars they found on the van floor, "oh it will work" Madelyn said holding up a big lighter.

the group got a silver circle and placed the gold in it so it can melt into the shape of a circle and Madelyn was starting to burn it when Jj took the lighter off her, "hey!"

"you not doing that you could burn yourself remember when we were having a fire and you burned yourself trying to light a smoke" Madelyn sighs and he holds his arm over he shoulders and hands it to Kie to melt as they stood back.

the group getting to the shop and the get out of the van, "hell of a job melting it down Dr. Frankenstein" Jj said sarcastically as he held a very uneven, weirdly shaped piece of gold.

"like you could have done any better?" Kie told Jj he rolled his eyes at the girl, "i could have done better" the two start fighting and John b walks up to them breaking it off before anything bad happens.

"easy for you to say your no the one who has to pawn this piece of shit" Jj said holding up the weirdly shaped gold in his hand, "how did i get this jobs anyway?" Jj said rolling his eyes and walking to the pawn shop.

"cause your the best liar plus Maddie is going with you" Pope said and Jj turned to look at her with a smile, Madelyn couldn't help but get little butterflies in her stomach and she tried to push them down remembering about her boyfriend Ben.

the two walk into the shop and head to the counter, "afternoon ma'am" Jj said and Madelyn wrapped her arm around his looking around the shop, "afternoon" the lady said and they walked over towards her.

"we see you buy gold?" Madelyn said and she looked at her nodding, "that's what the sign says" she replied with a sarcastic tone.

"well i sure hope you buy a lot of it because this will blow your mind" Jj said and Madelyn smiled as he got it out and ready, "i haven't got much mind to blow so go ahead" the lady said and Jj placed the melted gold on the counter.

the lady chuckled looking down at it and then back at Jj and Madelyn, "that shit not real" she said still chuckling like she watched a funny movie or something, "feel how heavy it is" Jj said and the woman picked up the gold in surprise at the weight it was in her hands.
