"izzy" she felt her heart stop and tears started falling from her eyes at the memory of what happened before she moved back.

Jj watches her and rubs her back trying to calm her down "hey Mads you there?" she hears her voice and put the phone on speaker "yeah i- i'm here Izzy"

"i have missed you and i want to know if i can come stay with you. its- its gotten worst" Isabella says to the girl as she is wiping her tears away "yeah of course all i want is to see you again" Madelyn says looking down at the phone.

"thank you i will be there as soon as i can, i just cant be here anymore" she says starting to cry. When Madelyn notices her tears form again and there is a moment of silence "ok ill see you soon ok?" "yeah of course Izzy" Madelyn says hanging up the phone.

She looks at Jj and wraps her arms around him crying into his chest. All the girl could think about was how bad it was for Isabella and her, but mostly Isabella.

"hey hey look at me" Jj lifts her chin up "it will be ok, don't worry" Madelyn nods to him and he wipes her tears away.

Kie and Pope hear the girl crying and go to the room as fast as they could "what happened?" Kie said sitting down. "it's my old friend, Isabella. we met the day i moved and we were best friends but the reason i left was because of what happened to both of us."

the group gives her a look and she wipes away her tear "you said you came back to see family?" Kie asks worryingly "i lied, i came back because at the boarding school we went to there were some bad people, people that if you messed with don't really take it easy..."

Madelyn takes a deep breath and Pope sits down next to Jj giving him a worried look "Isabella and I got into some things and they didn't like it so they started coming at us and trying to touch us or hurt us and we tried stopping it, we thought it was over and when the principal saw the marks on my arms they sent me home"

She faces Kie and cries in her chest and Kie strokes her hair trying to calm her down. Pope rubs her back and Jj looks at the girl wanting to cry at what he just heard "does Topper know about this?" Kie asks softly "n-no i haven't told him i just said that i wanted to come back home so be a family again and Topper and my mother believed it"

Madelyn looks up and wipes her eyes, she takes a deep breath calms down "why don't we go meet up with John b to see if anything i found was worth the dive?" the group look at her and nod which makes her start to smile.

The four go to the dock and see John b focusing on some object in his hand "so what did we get?" Jj says yelling to the boy. He holds up something that looks like a compass and the four stop and look at him.

"well that's about right, good job everyone. We almost died over a compass" Pope exaggerates in a tone Madelyn has never heard from him before.

Madelyn notices that John b is staring at it likes its so important and nudges Jj to look over "dude, what? it's not worth anything." John b's face starts to form a smile and says with a soft tone "this was my fathers..." the group looks at him shocked at his words and Madelyn sits down next to him.

"my dads still alive i know it. How else could this get back to me?" he says with a smile "i should take these tanks back" he stands up and gets into the boat driving away leaving the group worried at the dock.

"hey we should get to work" Pope says to Madelyn "yeah ok one sec" she turns to Jj and stares into his sparkling eyes.

"continue our conversation later?" she asks looking at him "of course princess" she smiles and plants a kiss to his cheek close to his lips and walks with Pope to the end of the dock.

"we will talk about this later eh" Kie teases the boy and he rolls his eyes watching the girl walk away.

At work Madelyn and Pope starts bagging up food and drinks when Pope looks up at her "hey you ok?" he asks "yeah why wouldn't i be" she puts a small smile on her face and looks at the boy.

"because of before.." there is silence between them as she went through her thoughts "ugh- y- yeah i'm fine now" he walks up to her and hugs her holding her tight and she does the same to him.

"well isn't this nice aye" Mr Hayward says causing the two to jump in fright "you scared me Mr Hayward" Madelyn laughs "yeah dad" "well i wanted to see how you guys are doing"

"well i'm good what about you Pope?" she points at him "i'm great, in fact i'll keep bagging things up" he says in a tone that makes Madelyn laugh "yeah yeah yeah" Hayward says leaving the two kids laughing.
