Kie, Pope, Jj and Madelyn we're outside the chateau waiting for John b and Sarah to get there from John b fishing. Kie was checking a giant navy blue can they were going to use to send John b down to get the gold up in a tree.

Pope was watching her and Madelyn was in Jj's lap as he was sitting with their feet in the hot tub facing Kie and Pope, "how's it feeling Kie?" Pope said as she tried adjusting it, "feels good" she yelled back.

"John b pullin' a Houdini" Jj said wrapping his arms around the girl sitting in his lap, "yeah where is he, i got my interview tomorrow" Pope said as he brought Kie down slowly to the ground.

"hey what are you guys?" Kie asked as Pope helped her out of the can pointing at aj and Madelyn, "ugh we haven't really talked about it" Madelyn said holding his hand. looking at him, "well princess do you wanna be mine?" Jj looked at her and her heart stopped making her face go red.

she looked over at Kie who nodded giving her a smile and then Pope who did the same, "well Maybank when you put it like that" Madelyn said and Jj gave her a kiss to her lips, "get a room" Pope yelled and they laughed.

"speak of the devil, where you been?" Jj said as John b slowly appeared and walked int9 the house, "ok that's it?" Kie said and the group. Kk and Madelyn got out of the tub and walked over to the others, "what was that about?" Madelyn asks softly.

"i was gonna ask you the same thing" Pope responded and the group ran inside to John b making a mess, "you alright man? what's up?" Jj said following him everywhere with Pope.

"what are you looking for?" Kie said worryingly John b grabs out the gun and Madelyn gasps, "John b what do you need the gun for?" Jj said following to the pull out bed with the group.

Jj went to get the gun and John b aggressively pushed him down hard on the bed, "John b chill!" Kie yelled and Madelyn went to Jj and helped him up, Pope stood in the way so John b couldn't leave and he grabbed Pope and pushed him at the table.

"are you ok?" Kie asked Pope and he nodded, "John b what the hell are you doing?" Kie yelled and her and Madelyn ran outside with Pope and Jj following, "Ward knows about the gold... he killed my dad".

John b got on a motorcycle and drove off leaving the group, Kie tried to run after him with Pope but soon stopped when he sped ahead.

later that night Pope, Jj, Kie and Madelyn were in the boat outside of the Cameron's estate at the dock, "so what we just go to the door and ask 'hey you seen John b?'..." Jj said.

"look he lives at Tannyhill now it's possible it would work" Kie said while Madelyn sat down on the edge of the boat playing with the water, "we can play dumb" Kie suggested and Jj turned away from the water to stare at her.

"it's pretty late" Pope said and Madelyn nodded in agreement, "look, i have never seen John b like that, we should honestly go to the cops" Kie said with worry in her voice, "the cop- and say what, Kie? we are worried about our friend because he's on a rampage because Ward Cameron killed Big John?" Jj said sarcastically and Madelyn walked over to him rubbing his back to calm down.

"hey i see Ward" Pope said handing the binoculars to Kie, "doesn't look dead to me, let's go home" Pope said and Madelyn looked down at her phone that has a million messages, "yeah i should probably go deal with my family stuff" Madelyn sighed and Kie and Jj turned to face them.

"what!" She said and Madelyn looked at Pope, "obviously, Mr. Cameron is fine and even if John b was here, ap he isn't now okay? plus i have the biggest most important moment of my life in six hours and Madelyn has so much shit at home that if she doesn't go deal with it she is getting shipped off back to that boarding school"

"well our friend is in trouble" Kie exclaims and looks between Madelyn and Pope, "Kie we will be in trouble i know Mr. Hayward is probably really mad and i'm not even supposed to be here" she looks at Kie and Jj.

Jj walks over to the girl and held her hand standing beside her, "okay so that's it?" Kie said looking at Pope and Madelyn and they look at each other then the ground, "in a time of need, your just gonna bail? walk away?" Kie yelled and Jj let go of her hand standing in between the three.

"okay guys, can we not do this right now?" he asked but no one listened, "hey, i have a scholarship interview in the morning i can't-"

"well what about John b!" Kie yelled, "why is it always about John b?" Pope yelled and Madelyn started to move back and felt Jj's chest behind her sitting down, "it's not always about him" Kie yelled back to the boy.

"it would be any of you guys in this situation" Kie pointed to us all, "look Kie Pope has a once in a life time opportunity we can look for John b after and i-"

"you what? cant go because your mother is sending you away?" Madelyn looked over to her with some anger in her expression, "you know that's not fair Kie! i have done everything i could with my brother to keep him away from you guys and if i don't go home or do either way i will always be sent away so i need to at least try we can look for him tomorrow but right now me and Pope need to sort out our shit"

Madelyn got out of the boat and started to run up the dock, Jj stood up to help her but Kie stopped him and looked to the ground, "let her go cool down" Jj nodded and Pope and Kie sat opposite ends of the boat while Jj drove off.

Hours later Madelyn went to the porch of her house and a figure came behind her placing a hand on her shoulder, "Maddie please talk to me" she turned around and faced Benjamin shoving his hand off her.

"i have nothing to say Ben" before he can speak Madelyn went inside locking the door and leaving him outside, "Mads?" Topper said turning on a light walking down stairs, "hey" she said softly walking towards him crying.

"please Topper don't let her send me back i can't go back" he hugged her back and his eyes started to fill up with tears. their mother came from her room upstairs and Madelyn let go of her brother looking at her.

her mother could see how hurt she was and Madelyn's tears started falling down her face, she fell onto her knees and the floor and her mother ran towards her, "honey i am so sorry Topper told me what really happened their and how much pain and suffering it caused you... i would love if you stay with us if you want to?"

Madelyn looked up at her mother and she had never see her mother so worried about her she hugged her mother tightly and wiped the tears away from her eyes.

she went up to her room and put on her pjs and went to the bathroom to brush her teeth and her window shot up and she turned to see a blonde haired boy climbing into her room.

"Jj you scared me!" she said walking out of the bathroom nudging his shoulder and closing her door, "sorry princess i wanted to make sure you were ok" Jj looked at her with sympathy and she gave him a smile.

"my mother said i can stay" she held his hands in hers and he smiled picking her up and she wrapped her legs around him as they hugged, "Jj i can't breath" she said jokingly and Jj loosened his grip.

they looked into each other's eyes and then slowly moving in giving each other a kiss on the lips, Jj slowly wrapped his arms around her waist and walked over the bed making out with her and she took his shirt throwing it to the ground.
