Topper, Madelyn and their mother stand spine the dock watching as a worker pulls Toppers new boat out from under water. Madelyn holds her hand to her mouth in shock as it comes out of the water, the seats are ruined and parts of it have gone missing.

their mother stands with her arms crossed while Topper stands beside her with rage holding his hands in his pockets, Madelyn stands beside him and looks at the worker.

"a boat like this don't just sink, Dr Thornton" the worker said to their mother that looks very unimpressed at Topper and the boat, "how much will this cost?" she exclaims still with her arms crossed.

"well , submerged 24 hours that's about 25 to 30k" Madelyn gasps in shock and her mother looks at her in rage and back at the worker is she mad at me? Madelyn thinks and looks over to Topper.

"insurance won't cover it?" their mother said and Topper shakes his head thinking who would do this to him, "no not for operator error, the plug was missing ma'am" the worker said and Madelyn looked confused as their mother looked over towards them.

"that's impossible i know Topper always checks he loves this boat-" before Madelyn can finish their mother speaks up with rage in her voice, "i thought that when you turned 16, you'd take a little more responsibility for your actions" she looks out to the water and then back to the two kids.

the rage in her eyes made Madelyn a little scared the last time she was this scared was when Madelyn got herself into trouble back at the school on mainland, Madelyn stood behind Topper looking down trying to not get involved.

"are you kidding me i did not do this, you think i am that stupid to sink my own boat?" Topper yelled towards his mother and she looked unimpressed by his tone, "why is this his fault someone could have done this" Madelyn speaks up she had her head held down in fear and then looked towards her mother.

"because it usually is" she said to Topper in a soft tone and walks away sighing, Madelyn looks at Topper and give him a hug. she knows that her mother can be a little to much and he was always the one that she got mad at so Madelyn liked to comfort him.

Topper, Rafe, Kelce and Madelyn go to the gym and while the boys are working out she lays down on one of the benches with her bikini top and denim short on holding her hands on her head.

"my mother thinks that i did it, even though there is no possible way i could have" Topper exclaims doing pulls ups on a small bar hanging from the ceiling.

Madelyn looks over to the boys and sees Kelce doing pull ups while Rafe and Topper grab some water, "it's always my fault no matter what, she just wants me to be this robot that checks her boxes" Madelyn sits up leaning on her arms and looks at him.

"Topper she doesn't hate you" Rafe looks over to her as well and Topper and she try's not to make eye contact with Rafe. she still doesn't know if she forgives him for what he did and she wasn't ready to speak to him again.

"Maddie your mums favourite" Topper says sarcastically and rolls his eyes Madelyn stands up and walks over to him slapping him on the face, the two boys turn their heads immediately to watch them and Topper looks at her with rage.

"if i'm the favourite why did she ruin my life making me go to a boarding school where the things that happened to me scared me physically, emotionally and mentally and that she doesn't even acknowledge me when i'm around let alone talk to me in general" she exclaimed in rage and walks out side sitting on a bench.

Rafe walks out to her and sits down beside her wiping off the sweat off himself, "listen i know you probably hate me right now but if you wanna talk about your boarding school-"

"i got raped more than once and some people their hated me so much they made bad rumours about me so they could knock me down and hurt me" Madelyn said with tears running down her face, "and i had no one to talk to and it still hurts that my mother is still considering sending me back" Rafe wraps an arm around her and hugs her.

she turns and crys into his chest and Topper walks out from the gym, "Maddie i- i heard everything i'm so sorry that happened to you" he bends down and looks at you.

"hey i'm here for you Mads and i am sorry i said you were her favourite it was wrong she just doesn't like us that much and that's ok because we have each other" she gives him a hug and Topper looks at Rafe with hurt and sadness for his little sister.

Madelyn and Pope are at work and they both go outside and sit down for some lunch, Topper and Rafe drive over and Madelyn runs to the car and grabs her lunch thanking them for bringing it, she still hadn't forgave him but at least she is talking to him.

as she walks back the two boys glare and Pope and his eyes widen like he is scared to see them, Pope grabs my arm and runs inside and grabs our things before running over to Jj's.

"Pope what are you doing?" Madelyn asks as they come to a stop, Pope ignores her and yells to Jj shooting the gun at a poor innocent teddy bear, "hey isn't that my teddy bear!" Madelyn yells which catches Jj's attention.

"Mr cuddles!" yes she named her bear mr cuddles, "Jj they know" Pope yells Jj and Pope walk away so Madelyn can't hear. she notices they are gone and takes the teddy and herself behind the shed to listen to what they are saying.

"what?" Jj said to the boy, "they know" Pope exclaims and Jj held his hand up to his face so Madelyn wouldn't hear, "Topper knows we sunk his boat" Madelyn gasps quietly and holds her hand up to her mouth in shock.

"how do you know they know?" Jj said softly to Pope, "well Topper and Rafe came to give Maddie her lunch and they mad dogged me" Pope walks i front of Jj who sat down on a stump.

"calm down man they don't know shit!" Jj said looking back to make sure Madelyn wasn't their, "they have cameras, they could have seen us" he paced around in circles and Madelyn looks over trying to see with curiosity.

"they don't give scholarships to kids who vengefully sink boats ok!" Pope yells and Jj doesn't notice his tone still sitting on the stump. Madelyn walks out and scares the two boys.

"hey what are you guys talking about?" Madelyn asks so she doesn't seem like she was listening the whole time, "did you hear anything we said?" Pope asks and she shakes her head, "no no i was focused on Mr Cuddles you know the one Jj has been shooting at" she exclaimed throwing the teddy at him and then sitting down on his lap.

"so what were you talking about?" she asks once again hoping they would tell her, "just school and that" Jj said giving her a weird look, "wait you Jj talking about school?" she said laughing out and he rolled his eyes as Pope laughed with her.

"oh god that's hilarious, but J we all know you hate school" she placed her hands in her lap still giggling, "yeah yeah yeah well Pope doesn't" he pointed to the boy laughing along with Madelyn.
