Nova
It's been a week since the Homecoming incident. Things were slowly settling down, and the city seemed more....peaceful whenever me and Peter went out.
As promised, all of last week, Peter bought me Delmar's, and even though I started to feel a teensy bit guilty, he said it was fine, and that he kind of deserved it anyway.
Ned knows our secret now, and I'm figuring out on how to tell Lila. She's been my friend for so long, and I feel like she deserves to know.
Right now, I was sprawled across my bed, stomach down, working on some homework as light music played in the background. My bedroom door was closed, and I had my blinds up, even though it was like 10 pm.
As I jotted down some notes, my phone buzzed beside me, and I picked it up, opening the message.
Spidey-Boy: You home?
I furrowed my brows, and texted back a quick reply.
Me: Yea? Why?
I waited for a minute, but I didn't get any reply back, so I shrugged and tossed the device aside, diving back into my work.
Tap.
I furrow my brows, looking around my room to see what made that noise. It wasn't the music because I knew this song well enough....
Tap tap.
I scowled. What the he-
I stared straight through the window, and almost screamed, toppling off my bed.
There, in all his glory, was Spider-Man, hanging upside down with the web stuck to both his feet, waving at me.
I held onto my chest dramatically, gasping, and run to open the window. I locked my door with my powers, and slid up the glass, glaring.
"Peter?! What the hell?! Do you want me to die of a heart attack?" He climbs onto the windowsill, and jumps in, very elegantly inviting himself into my house. He takes off his mask, and lifts up a brown paper bag in my face, grinning widely.
"I brought brownies!" I just look at him, than the brownies, than him again, and then the brownies.
"You can't keep buying me food every time I get ticked off, you know," I mutter, taking the bag from him and inhaling the sweet scent. The bag was kind of heavy, but I didn't say anything, knowing he would explain.
(I just had a brownie and it was d e l i c i o u s)
He shrugs, seating himself on my desk. "A way into a girls heart- or room, apparently, is through food." I glare at him, and settle on my bed, munching on the brownies.
"Ok, so, why are you here, exactly?" I question, and he rubs the back of his neck, looking down. I knew he had some kind of idea from the look on his face, and I narrowed my eyes with suspicion.
"Parker? What's rolling in that brain of yours?"
He sighs, and looks at me, his cocoa eyes sparkling.
"Star, I have this cool idea we could do, but...."
"But?" I urge on.
"But I don't know if you'll agree...."
"Spill," I say nonchalantly.
"Well....what if we made these cool wristbands?"
"Huh?"
