Peter Parker

This was crazy.

Checking my phone, I sighed. Still no message from Happy. After Prim left, I would usually text happy about my patrols, but no reply. Ever.

Walking to my locker, I slammed it open and starting grabbing my books.

"Join me, and together....we'll build my new Lego death star!" I spun around, facing Ned.

"You finished the bones? That's awesome. How many pieces was it, again?"

"Three thousand eight hundred and three."

"That's insane."

"I know. You want to finish it tonight?"

"No, I can't tonight. I've got the Stark-"

"-Stark Internship."

"Yeah, exactly."

"Always got that internship." I shrugged, maneuvering through the hallway of kids.

"Yeah, well hopefully, soon it'll lead to a real job with them."

"That would be so sweet."

"Right?" It would be AWESOME.

"He'd be all, 'Good job on those spreadsheets, Peter. Here's a gold coin."

I made a face at Ned, and he just shrugged.

"I don't know how jobs work."

"That's exactly how jobs work, smartass." Star appeared in the middle of us seemingly out of nowhere, and wrapped her hands around our shoulders.

"What are y'all idiots talking about?"

"Oh, remember the Death Star? We were planning on finishing it tonight. Wanna come?" Her face wavered for a second.

"I-I don't think I can come, sorry."

"Don't tell me you've got the internship too."

"What, the Stark one that Peter has?" I rolled my eyes, and Ned nodded.

"Nope. Buuuut, I do have homework, and my mom is already pissed that I go out so often."

Ned's face mirrored my own confusion. "But you only go out to get food with me." She hesitantly smiled. "Yeah, my mom says that's fine, but I still gotta work. Maybe another time."

Sighing, Ned walks into his classroom to the right, and me and Star walk into math.

Nova

"Okay, so how do we calculate linear acceleration between points  A and B?" The teacher looks around the room.

"Flash."

"It's the product of the sine of the angle and gravity divided by mass." I know he's wrong.

"Nope." Haha, take that loser.

Flash, unfortunately, was seated right next to me, which sucks, and he makes a face at me, knowing his reputation was going downhill. He's literally sooo petty, ugh.

"Peter, you still with us?"

I turn around, and Peter quickly closes the laptop.

"Yeah, yeah." This kid. I roll my eyes, lightly annoyed that he wasn't paying attention, and a little happy and proud that he was about to get the question right and beat Flash's wrinkly ass.
