Volume 1 - Chapter 12: The Armorizard

Second day in the Murasaka Village at noon.

The next day, I and Hain headed towards the food shops in the north district to eat delicious food that she and I never tasted before. For me, it's understandable since I'm particularly an otherworlder and just recently arrived here. But for her, she simply had no money to begin with, since she dedicated all her life to the light.

While we were walking and eating something like grilled chicken kebabs. Alvis picked up something from the radar.

My footsteps were halted by Alvis's following speech.

『Master, there is a Mid-Tier C Rank monster at your 11 o' clock approximately 6km away.』

What about it, Alvis? I just grabbed another bite while asking her. Today later in the afternoon, I'll go to the blacksmith's shop to get my weapon.

『Answer, It's currently in pursuit of five humans.  Their levels range from Level 7 to 9.』

So what's the monster's level?

『Answer, level 39.』

Woah. That's pretty high, how did they even run away from it?! I felt a strong sense of anxiety from what's going on. My heart was telling me to go and save them immediately. What the hell is this feeling?

『Answer, because of master's prev–』

Nevermind that, show me their location in the navigation right now! We have to save them!

While walking, I brusquely grabbed Hain on her breasts and casted the multi-element magic《Elemental Barrier》skill.

「Kyaa! Y-Yukio?!」

Even though it wasn't necessary, it atleast gave me some confidence to leave her here for a short while.

「I have urgent business to attend to. Please wait for me at the inn, Hain.」

「O-Okay, I understand.」

Slightly red, she nodded at me and her watermelons seem to have jugged. It was really an obscene sight. What a monster!

I quickly ran to the direction the radar told me. Using my real agility values, I quickly jumped building from building leaving only a blur behind.

『Borrowed Skill,《Wind Resistance》active.』

With the skill that only the rides from this world are supposed to have, I was able to obtain more speed than before. I can no longer feel wind hit my body whenever I make rapid movements. It's the perfect kind of skill that horses have in this world.

In less than thirty seconds, I was able to cover the distance in a violent roar of wind from where I stood. I didn't really feel it, but the sound itself must've been heard by alot of people considering it was so loud that it can be compared to the sounds jets make when flying overhead. I was only able to come this far because it was only 6km.

I stood behind a tree and leaned my head from the back. They look like adventurers, is there an adventurer's guild nearby? They're heading towards the town to probably seek help.
